Very detailed, rewarding DIY magic shop!
I absolutely love this kit. It is definitely not for beginners and if you've done book nooks, this is quite a bit more detailed. But that is why I love it. While the instructions took a bit of getting used to, once I figured it out, it was pretty straight forward. I highly recommend several types of glue. EVERYTHING needs to be glued together. Elmers glue for paper type products, you definitely need super glue for the furniture because it has to dry fast. Also, I just discovered UV glue with the little UV light which was game changing for gluing the little beads and other parts together. I highly recommend that investment. Also, get multiple size tweezers, a nail file for filing off the wood once you punch it out of the frame. Don't plan to finish this in one sitting as is possible with one of the simpler book nooks I've done. But it is definitely rewarding and worth it.I thought the parts were well organized. All the beads are in separate bags and you have to be careful to get the right bead / part for each step. I would look at the number on the step then refer back to the original inventory page which then told you which bag to get the bead out of. You can compare the size/color based on that to make sure you get the right one. It's also all in centimeters which it doesn't explicitly state. So when I was cutting the wire I didn't get at first how long to cut it. But its usually 1:1 scale on the diagram, so you can line it up to know how long to cut the wire. Or some just say the number of centimeters, but if you're in the USA you might not realize that at first.Overall, if you are meticulously detailed, you will likely love this project as much as I do!

Incredible details, assembly not for the faint of heart
This wand shop miniature kit is definitely not for novices. It's incredibly detailed and challenging for experienced book nook and miniature crafters. You will need quite a few tools for assembly, which most crafters have on hand, but I would suggest reading through the instruction book first, before beginning assembly, to get a good idea on what you will need. Some helpful reviewers have posted lists too.I love the final look of it, although I did modify a few pieces to work the way I wanted them to. One example is the luggage cart, which I modified the "wheels" in the front to sit lower. The potion bottle, wands and lanterns are my favorites, as they really lend to the detailed "magical" look.I had some issues with the quality of the items, which I had to figure ways to work around the issues. The first being the color of the touch up paint included in the kit. It was a bright green, very gel-like consistency and didn't match the darker green of the entire store front. I wound up mixing my own color to match with acrylics I had here. Another issue was the splintering of the wood. The green, brown, black and grey sheets are a 3 layer product. There are two thin colored layers sandwiching around a center core layer. The top and bottom layers splinter easily when removing the pieces from the sheet, leaving the internal core color exposed. I used touch up paint and markers to cover those exposed spots. I also used a wood stain pen to color the lightest wood pieces, as I felt they didn't match the overall look as well. The back battery access panel is also in the lightest wood color, and I stained that also to blend better into the faux brick back of the store. I have not assembled the dust covering/display box as there is a corner chunk broken off. I can't use it.The most challenging part for me was the wiring. I feel that there is some sort of short where the wires connect to the battery box. I had to anchor the black wire to the box before attempting to connect the two other strands of lights. One helpful tip to get a good connection from the single fairy light to the battery box; lightly sand the wire to remove the coating and it creates more surface for the wire to get the charge. The single fairy light used in the desk lamp is also quite short, so connecting it to the battery box was difficult. All said and done, it really is an impressive and beautiful finished product, in spite of the quality issues, which is why I gave it 4 stars. I have it on display and everyone who sees it instantly falls in love with it. Someone asked me to assemble one for them, and I declined because once was more than enough with this one!

This is amazing! I love it with all my heart!
This is my first DIY Miniature House. I loved it. The detail is amazing. Difficulty level is manageable. Its frustrating at times but that's what makes it satisfying. All the little pieces coming together to create a whole is amazing. Little tiny beads and wire. It is the funniest thing I have ever done for sure. Its so amazing. Its so wild how they can create such a cool experience. A couple pieces broke but that's bc I wasn't carful enough. But even without those it's beautiful. The lighting is the hardest part to be honest. But even without it you could skip it and this mini house is amazing. Intricut detail and magical whimsy. All the little pieces come together to create a beautiful peice. That is very interesting to look at.
