Good keyboard case at a lower price than an Apple keyboard
I really like this ESR keyboard case. It works well and it is easy to type on and much cheaper than an Apple keyboard. There is a little bit of weight to it but that is because of the battery, which seems to have good life to it. I have not used it for more than a few hours but no issue with the battery during that time. The touch pad works well. My only complaint, which is more of a suggestion, is that I wish it had a slim companion case that you can use if you want to use the iPad without the keyboard. As it is, you have to buy a separate case if you want to use the iPad without the keyboard. But overall I am very happy with the keyboard.

Excellent and sturdy alternative to magic keyboard!
LOVE. Yes, it’s on the heavier side for a folio case, but I LOVE the extra detachable case. Can’t believe how much I’ve used it for work already switching between my work laptop and iPad when responding to emails. The mouse lags a bit, so I wish there was a way to change the sensitivity. However, it’s not a dealbreaker for me since I often use my pro pencil and fingers to navigate the screen. Love the different keyboard colors that backlight the keyboard. Love that the colors I’ve dimmable and I can turn them off to save battery. I really appreciate the magnet strength of the case because it does not feel like my iPad is going to fall off. I also really appreciate that the keyboard is its own battery so I don’t have to rely on my iPad to charge it. Love the light purple color that I bought, it seems to go well with the starlight color of my iPad. One thing that I appreciate is how thin the detachable cases, however, it is a little bit difficult to get the iPad in. If you don’t plan on removing your iPad from the detachable case then you will probably be all set! Otherwise, this is a very intuitive keyboard to use and I like the simple instructions that come with it. One upgrade that I hope they do on this case is adding a pen slot so that my pencil pro doesn’t get lost. I think I waited two or three months for more reviews to come in before I purchased this product. I will come back to update review if anything changes for me.

Great for most people
First, I would say this is 3.5 stars but I’m rounding up. I think it would be great for ~80% of people. Here’s what I like:- cost - it’s about a third the price of the official Apple product- full coverage - the magnetic thin case fully covers your iPad and the flap secures the Pencil- the keyboard - I love the backlit colors. The official product (for iPad Air anyway) doesn’t have that feature- battery life - the keyboard itself needs to be charged separately from the iPad however it seems to last forever. I’ve never had to recharge it in the ~month I had itOkay here’s what I don’t like, and why I ultimately decided to return it:- weight - about double the weight of the official keyboard. Having an Air was due to its size and weight and having a really heavy attachment negated that- Bluetooth vs auto connect - the Bluetooth lag isn’t too bad, but it’s not automatic and it slightly annoyed me. The worst part, though, was I felt it made the keyboard buggy (some keys didn’t work, had to reset/disconnect and reconnect. Now back to the weight, which I feel is the issue. While it’s great that it is very protective, it makes the iPad heavy to tote around. Since it has a magnetic thin case (I love this on its own tbh, I’d buy it) the magnet doesn’t stick to surfaces as advertised. Like, I would not trust this to just stick on my fridge. It’s not strong enough. Also due to the weight, I felt it made the device weight disproportionately distributed and sometimes it would topple back if I was trying to view at a certain angle. It also wouldn’t always stay at the angle I wanted because the case. After a couple weeks, you could begin to see the creases in the case which I did not expect. Finally, while the fit was great and I love that it’s basically a two in one case, it is super thick, about 50% thicker than the Apple Magic Keyboard. In sum, it’s a pretty great product for the price, but having had an Apple Magic Keyboard before for an iPad Pro I used to have and my partner also having the Magic Keyboard, I felt like mine was not as portable and decided to return. I think if I didn’t know any different I would have kept it, but it’s still solid and even in white it didn’t get dirty and was very easy to clean, which I appreciated.

You Won’t Regret This Purchase
I was skeptical of buying this keyboard. When I tell you it is the most comfortable keyboard ever. It is a little heavy, but I love the feel. Makes my iPad feel more secure. I live how the pencil can still be attached and charged with this case in. The battery life has been great. I showed one of my friend and she though my iPad was an actual computer. Totally gives me that feel. I can’t wait to use it with the new iOS updates this fall.
