iDesign 70730 Fridge/ze Binz Egg Holder, Storage Box for 14 Eggs, Made from BPA- Plastic, Clear

I thought this a lovely idea, because my recently-delivered, rather bijou Bosch fridge arrived with two disappointingly insubstantial 6-space egg trays. In case you’re shopping to fit a specific fridge – here are the details of my model: Bosch Serie 2 KTR15NW3AG.The container is very pleasant and certainly fits comfortably on the egg shelf – and it is great to get 14 rather than the standard 12 eggs into one area. The wavy (scalloped) outer edge is a little annoying – but is clearly included to allow your hands to grip around box and lid. However, this probably isn’t for you if you like to buy your eggs in all shapes and sizes.Whilst it is too small for very large eggs - the tiny ones one get stuck at the bottom, making it very hard to fish them out. My husband has arthritis in his hands and found it impossible to retrieve any eggs.Unfortunately I had to return the container for refund – but was able to find just the right one for 14 larger eggs.It cost slightly more (£12.68 from TankerStreet), fits well into the fridge door, but has straight edges - which I find more pleasing to the eye.

I wanted an eggbox to fit in the top shelf of the fridge door. My fault for getting the width and height the wrong way round - it's actually 10cm wide. However, the worst part of it is that you can't get the eggs out of the corners without turning the thing upside down - with obvious potential consequences. Not a product I would recommend to anyone. However, I might use it for chitting potatoes in the greenhouse in Spring.

I purchased two of these egg binz/holders and I was very impressed with the feel of them immediately upon opening. The binz have weight to them and feel quite sturdy. With that said I was unable to place slightly larger than normal eggs in the trays side by side and the lid wouldn't fit even when eggs were placed in every other recess. I am highly disappointed that in order for eggs to fit they have to be small eggs. The container is very large but the actual compartments for holding each egg are small. There is wasted space in the design between each compartment which could have allowed for larger eggs to fit nicely into the each recess. If you only buy small eggs then this may be great for you but other wise it's useless. I have 7 eggs in it because again none of them can fit side by side. It looks ridiculous.

It certainly does the job but wont fit in my fridge the way I wanted. I wanted to put it in the fridge longways (front to back. Its too long unfortunately. I bought another for 12 eggs that's perfect.

Purchased item because it stated will take 14 large eggs. Could not get 2 eggs one in front of another. Only 7 large eggs alternating rows front and back in zigzag formation. Returned product immediately

I waited for this to be sent for some considerable time. When it arrived it proved useless for my needs. If you only ever choose perfect eggs which are medium in size, this product may be ok for you. If you choose extra large or misshapen large eggs you will almost certainly be disappointed.

Good product but tricky if eggs are smaller as the egg cups are deep. Good for eggs all same size

I should have chosen another format. Too lengthy for my fridge. It looks a good product, but not for my need.
