Junky junk junk juuuuunk
For reference, I have a Pioneer VSX-1022.This remote looks almost exactly like my original remote, which recently died. It matched up with the compatability, the ratings were ok, so I figured I'd give it a shot.At first I was pleased, the volume and power buttons were fine and I could change to my standard input viewing option ok. That was Day 1.Day 2, I discovered that if a connection setting isn't on the remote (or vice versa), and you scroll to the setting - the remote stops working entirely. I identified this by my 'Game' input, which is not an option on the remote. I used the manual 'input select' to try to navigate to Game, and as soon as it hit an option not on the remote it stopped responding. I tried to then use the volume after, and the entire remote wasn't responding.Weird, ok, I'll try another pair of batteries just in case. Nope, not the batteries - and then the remote stopped responding to the volume control after 1 change no matter what input setting I was on.I really wanted to avoid a universal remote, but this one was completely not worth the effort.
