I watched a couple of camping adventures online where the campers used the pour over coffee pouch. Finally I decided to purchase and found this brand on Amazon. The reviews look good so why not try?I read a customer review that suggested steeping the pouch for a stronger cup--did that, love it! Yea I can use instant, but sometimes I want something a little bit fancier. Taste yummy to me and I will purchase again!

I roast my own single origin coffee regularly. I find this product more convenient for backpacking trips than grinding, portioning, packaging, carrying and cleaning extra brew equipment. As pre-ground, pre-packaged coffee goes this stuff is pretty good. Even compared to fresh roasted it's still OK. I was impressed with the quality for the price and will try other flavors. The one caveat: Brewing with pour over method only will not result in enough contact time with the grounds because the filter drains too quickly. If you look at the negative reviews many mention it being weak flavored. To fix that I set up the filter on my GSI mug, pour hot water through the grounds as with normal pour over, and then let the coffee in the filter sit in contact with the water in the cup for a few minutes to brew further then take out the filter. You can simply modify the amount of water or the time you let it steep before pulling the filter to match your own tastes for strength or bitterness. Make sure your water is hot enough to extract the flavors: 195-205F. I sometimes even use these at home when I need to get out the door fast and want to cut out the extra time of grinding, brewing, and washing with my normal setup. Such a great value!

I love the coffee flavor, but the tabs don't stay when I put water in them. I have to tape the tabs down to brew the coffee.

The Honduran pour over packaging is good. The drip pod setup works good. The coffee taste is horrible. ( rancid?) couldn’t tell if nasty flavor was from the coffee pod( cardboard / filter) or coffee being rancid. Unless flavor / taste is addressed I will not buy again.

Nice flavor, sturdy frame for placing in cup. I use with a Keurig and it works great. I prefer the Honduran over the Costa Rican but both are good.

Smooth and tasty coffee. Very easy to prepare!!

pouring 10 oz of water thru this stuff is impossible, you get maybe 7 oz if you are patient to the point that the coffee will be ice cold.
