Okay I don’t know if I’m jumping the gun here, but I just got done using this a SINGLE time, and I might be obsessed. I have a really dry, flakey scalp. I’ve tried a lot of different shampoos that claim to help this, but I’ve never really seen the results I wanted. This shampoo doesn’t even necessarily make any huge claims to help with dry flakey scalp, but oh my gosh I can’t remember the last time I got done washing my hair and had a mostly clear scalp. It’s not perfect, but for one wash this is crazy. I’ll have to wait and see how long it lasts and if it gets better with each wash. I am so impressed!!! Again, this is just one wash so I don’t want to give it all 5 stars quite yet, I’ll update this review if and when I can. The shampoo didn’t lather amazingly for me, and it almost felt drying while shampooing if that makes any sense. However, coming out of the shower my hair actually seems softer and more manageable while wet than normal. Update 4/24/24: I’m lowering it down to 4 stars! I still love it and think it does a good job at cleaning when I do shampoo. However, I’m not seeing much prevention. My scalp is just as dry before my wash days. I get about one day of a clear ish scalp and then it gets dry and scaley again. I do want to preface that I think my dry scalp is more severe than normal, so if it’s just a slight problem for you, it would probably be great for that. I’m still going to use it and hopefully my scalp will adjust to it overtime, and to be fair, I myself need to stop picking at my scalp!!! It only makes it worse for me, any shampoo can only help so much.

I was skeptical at first, as this shampoo seemed wildly overpriced. I used a blob of Coco & Eve Pro Youth Shampoo and worked it into my hair. I am a senior male, bald on top, semi-long in back and don’t have any idea of the specific classification of my hair type, other than to say it’s not fine or overly course. Somewhat wavy and curly and oddly, one side is different than the other. It ended up being waay more shampoo than needed. This pearlescent liquid produces a thick, rich lather! So, heads-up, you will need far, far less than what you normally use. A little goes a long way. Again, I don’t have a full head of hair, long hair, etc. so take that into account. The main concern I have is as a regular lap swimmer, chlorine damage to my hair had been significant, but I’ve been “rebuilding” with regular collagen supplements, hair and beard support supplements, biotin and DHT blocker supplements, to name a few. This Pro Youth Shampoo by Coco & Eve purports to rejuvenate, deep clean, remove excess oil and sebum, which I have a lot of, strengthen and add shine and luster to damaged hair. So far, I’ve been using it after each swim and it absolutely makes a difference. Volume in appearance is much larger and fuller, without a doubt. I’m really happy with the results and will continue this faithfully. So glad I found it.! One small nit to pick. I wish the font was larger on the bottles and especially so you could see SHAMPOO in large, bold font. The Coco & Eve Pro Youth conditioner looks identical to the shampoo. I will mark it with a black permanent marker. That is it. Oh, and I do wish it was more affordable. This pretty much prices me out of the market. Highly recommended 5 STARS!

I have yet to try the shampoo because it looked like it’s been through hell and back. The bottle came dirty, the sticker that “holds” the cap closed barely had any glue left. I’m not even sure if what’s inside this bottle is the real product. Does it normally come wrapped in any way? Will appreciate any responses and will update if I decide to use it, how it goes.

I've used shampoos with honey before, but they do not compare to this Coco & Eve Pro Youth shampoo. It resembles honey in consistency and it even has a subtle honey scent. It created a rich and luxurious lather when I worked it into my hair. I typically require some sort of conditioner after shampooing (both rinse out and leave in) to enable me to comb through my hair. So, in order to test the moisturizing capabilities of this shampoo, I opted to skip using any conditioner. And I was pleasantly surprised to be able to easily comb through my wet hair after shampooing. The results when dry, although not breathtaking, were noticeable. My hair does look and feel very moisturized. And there is noticeable volume and shine. There is no strong lingering scent deposited. It leaves your hair smelling clean but relatively odorless.

This shampoo smells amazing! Not perfumy and doesn't irritate my skin but still leaves my hair smelling great. Nice clean scent. You only need a quarter size squirt of this as it lathers up great and washes my hair beautifully. My hair feels soft and clean. Great shampoo. Should last a while as you don't need much. Would purchase again

The shampoo lathers very nicely and it smells ok, pretty neutral. My scalp did itch a bit after using but didn't last long, hair felt nice after. My main issue with this product is the misleading marketing in "source only the best ingredients", "free of sulfates, .." etc, yet the list of ingredients are not shown on the product description. I was thinking I was getting a product that was made of good healthy ingredients and that's not the case. This shampoo gets a grade of 0 out of 100 on the Yuka app (an app that rates food / cosmetics and gives health impact information), mostly because of the use of harsh additives such as BHT and BHA. To be fair, many known brands score low on shampoo products but because of the sulfates etc that this one is free of. I thought I was getting something healthier here, but that's not the case.
