Is it a homage if you're doing a reissue of your own brand watch? :-)
There is SO much history behind this watch - hit up your favorite browser and indulge in a little reading; it's worth the time. Once you know what came before, you can appreciate the choice before you: a really nice hand-wind (NOT auto and NOT quartz, wind it yourself) watch with sapphire or mineral glass, 38 or 40 mm, various strap combinations. My choice is a great looking retro watch as you can see in my attached picture. My one piece of advice would be to avoid the high $$ sellers - the ST1901 movement is what you are looking for and the case that meets you vison so you come away with bang-for-the-buck watch that might just become your EDC.
