fulfilling a need for a product i did not know could be so useful for my chickens hygiene and wellbeingmost useful to know about and easy to purchase on amazon and a very keenly priced and well thought out product.

Does the job
A bit dubious that this would work on the ants that think my cavity walls are specially made for them! I have/had five nests... but no more.....make sure it's dry weather for a few days and leave where they exit the nest and some of their routes. It's a bit cruel to the ants {dehydrates then because it attaches to their exoskeleton} but better than a well known toxic brand that quite frankly didn't work very well last year anyway.

Nice quality, well contained
I got this diatomaceous earth for use in my garden to keep slugs at bay which seems to work reasonably well! I got the chicken-friendly version as I have cats and felt reassured that this would be safer for them to be around as diatomaceous earth can be harmful to respiratory health if breathed in.I'm especially happy with how it is packaged/contained as the tub makes it very easy to store, keeps it dry and easy to dispense from. Very pleased with it

Great product
We use this for so many things - this tub is excellent value and once you try it and realise how much you will save and also what jobs you can do without chemical intervention you will be a convert! It's also brilliant to just have one tub in the shed that can do so many different jobs...We use it in our hens dust bath, along with ash, but also we've used it this week as a natural and pet friendly ant powder and to rid pests from plants in the garden and house. It's highly effective for all things we've tried it for so far, I'd absolutely recommend this product and brand!
