I buy this in a large bag and have several season's worth of fish food for our small fish pond.However, the bag must remain sealed as insects are attracted to the food and will take up residence and multiply in the bag. Literally, you must close the bag as soon as you've taken some out, before they get in.Here's a little tip: I took a half-gallon sized plastic container with a wide-mouth screw on lid that being discarded, cleaned it out, and have used it to hold several months' supply of this fish food. PERFECT solution to keeping the floating fish pellets fresh and insect-free.

My grown koi’s love this better than the previous flakes and I also feed this to my pond turtle who absolutely loves it. Great for the price.

Great pond food
This is my favourite food for my pond fish (goldfish in one pond, silver perch in another).They gobble it up quickly, unlike other foods I've tried. It doesn't leave any obvious residue in the water. The pellets are large, so they don't clog or get overdispensed by the automatic feeder. They soften quickly so the fish don't choke on the large size. A 450g bag lasts a long time.

Much more cost effective than buying smaller cans at the pet food store. Only drawback was that it took over a month to arrive.

Awesome product
Definitely didn't expect a PAIL but my 14 inch koi fish, joe, loves them. He's a pig and goes through 2 handfuls a day so having a pail is super handy, I usually buy the 8 dollar containers from Walmart and they only last about a week so this is ideal for anyone feeding big fish.. UPDATE: OCT. 20TH 2020, originally I purchased for 31$ CAD so im not sure whats up with the price but I finally ran out 5 months later lol
