Very very cool programmable keyboard
Pro:The programming functionality is very cool, and the GUI is very intuitive (and you can code stuff in too).Solid build quality.Great values as far as I can see.Con: (personal)Cable too short. The brownswitch is still stiffer than what I like it to be.I've been searching for a low profile keyboard because I have small hands, but the keys are still pretty far apart for me.Keycaps aren't see-through so the backlit is basically useless.I really like this keyboard for its practicality, and I think it offsets the cons. I hope it lasts years.

Great Keyboard
I LOVE this keyboard. I went back and forth with whether I should get the brown or red switches but am happy with the brown ones. I have never used a mechanical keyboard before, but these brown ones have the perfect amount of travel and tactile feedback. I love that I can pair 3 different devices via Bluetooth AND run a physical USB-C cable should I need. Also, it pairs nicely with Logitech MX Palm Rest for MX Keys, Premium. The biggest downside is that the on/off/Bluetooth switch is super tiny and hard to actuate. Not sure why they could have done with a normal sized switch.

Total Upgrade
I type all day and hate the stock keyboards most offices provide. I also strongly prefer low-profile keyboards. And I’m in finance and data analytics so I absolutely need at least a num-pad. This keyboard ticked all the boxes, with the added bonus of being mechanical.I went with the RGB keyboard so I could have hot-swappable switches if I ended up liking the mechanical keeb. Turns out, I love my brown switches so I probably could’ve just gone with that. But I do like the digital rain light show that’s just bright enough without being distracting. The keycaps are beautifully ergonomic, with just enough of that tactile click to be enjoyable without annoying my coworkers at work or fiance at home. The slim case looks sleek and professional on both my office desk and my home desk. The red and black color scheme isn’t my favorite, but there are tons of options to switch to later on.It was super easy to connect via Bluetooth, but I primarily use it with the included cable. I have never had an issue losing connectivity or delays in my keystrokes. I’m mostly just upset I didn’t get this keeb sooner.

A Great board from Keychron
My second mechanical KB, and a great option for low-profile:I really like the VIA open-source customization. It's not hard to use to change keymapping and create macros, etc. I hadn't really planned to use it at all when i bought the board but i ended up using it to change the lighting effects and program the extra keys.- Gateron switches are great - I went with brown but i imagine the others are just as good.- The PBT keycaps it comes with are actually pretty good, although I'm not a fan of non-sculpted, stair-stepped keycaps.- You can find keycaps (both 3rd party and from keychron) if you ever want to switch things up.- Build quality is nice - aluminum top case with plastic bottom (two angle options for the feet).- RGB lights are kind of dim but they look nice and consistent, lots of options (though i just set it at one static color as I assume most will). Too bad there is no shine-through as the grey keys are difficult to see at night.- I use it wired so i can't comment on connectivity or battery life, but it only has bluetooth as far as that goes.Overall I do recomment keychron and I highly recommend the K5 Pro if you want a "custom" full-size, low-profile mechanical (I do not recommend the older K5 or K5 SE).

If buying a refurb, make sure to check it thoroughly for the correct switches
I was able to purchase the K5 for less as a refurb. It didn't feel right when I used it and sure enough, it wasn't the switches I ordered (ordered brown/tactile and received red/linear). The box was labeled correctly, so it wasn't until I pulled a keycap. Though a good keyboard otherwise, I returned it

“A” key randomly stops working after 2 weeks.
I’ve had this thing for less than a month and use it sparingly on a gaming computer only to find about 2 weeks into its ownership that the “A” key randomly stops working. You could be in the middle of a game, trying to move to the left and NOPE, or be in the middle of typing a sentence and NOPE. One moment it’s fine, the next it’s like the key doesn’t exist. There’s no rhyme or reason to it. After looking into the issue online it seems to be not uncommon for years now with the solutions ranging from sending it back to China and waiting until it comes back still broken or returning it. Bummed about this thing. Even my previous Logitech junk lasted a few years before randomly dying. This lasted two weeks before acting up. Returning with a lesson learned about this brand.

I have finally found my keyboard
I’m a web dev. For me a keyboard is a very personal and important thing. I have used probably 30 keyboards over the last 3 years. This keyboard, with the brown switches, is my happy place. I absolutely love it. From this brand I’ve tried the K4 and the K3 (79% with reds) …. Decent … but not MY keyboard. This is MY keyboard. Great, better than great, for typing 8-10 hours a day, my speed and accuracy has increased… it’s just …. My happy place.
