Awesome set and fun to build. The pieces don’t go together as smoothly as Legos but they look the same. But for a 1/4 of the price of the name brand, these scratch the building itch.

This is an AWESOME little set! Had the Hogwarts one with the book base too but this one is even cooler! I built up the base of the book a smidgen and added some LED remote tea lights underneath the lava plates (they’re transparent so they were just BEGGING to be lit up lol), and I think this looks fantastic! No missing pieces and the instructions were pretty easy to follow; I will say the light up brick is a major pain to turn on - twist on instead of push. That’s really the only criticism I can find, though!

Pros: • Decent price • Piece quality seems pretty good • Instructions were mostly pretty good • Final product is solid with with good detailing and has decent size Cons: • Too many pieces were in one bag, making searching for the next step's pieces a little difficult (but not too bad) • Pieces don't click together as smoothly as LEGO, but generally was okay • Connecting all of the clips to complete the main tower was a bit tricky, but got it to work eventually • Top of tower is somewhat weakly connected • Light brick doesn't work (I didn't care much about this feature, but if you're going to advertise a light-up function, it should work • Received one miscolored brick (but was able to hide that brick in internal structure

Bought it for my mom for Christmas. She loved it a few of the pieces she had to super glue to stay on just the smaller ones but that’s just what’s gonna happen with any Lego set or anything like legos. She loved it an it looks as it does in the photo. Would buy again.

This is very detailed and is so gorgeous when completed. The aspect of the tower coming out of the book was so interesting to me. Didn’t realize until after but the eye even lights up!! Instructions gave me a struggle at times, but I definitely would say that is user error 😂😂 overall great gift for LOTR and building set lovers

Don't waste your money on this piece of junk! I will most definitely stick with LEGO brand! Pieces won't stay together.

Very cool decide, pieces fit together nicely, instructions are easy. However, ours was missing the light up diode which is essential if you want it to light up. There was no way to contact the seller for a replacement part and the only option was to return the original for a new one….which I didn’t want to do because I was already half way through building.
