Bought this hotpot before last holiday season. Have used it many time hosting friends and family. Some have never heard of hotpot before and now they will buy one too. If you like one pot soup, this is perfect size for 2-4 people. It heats up rather quickly too.

I noticed that the pot I received has a pink paint and speckled coating, while the product picture showed a nonstick coating. I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure what I got is unsafe. This may be good for unregulated Chinese markets but not for me. Update: the product pictures now show the paint coating. Only purchase this if you’re brave. Before you do, ask yourself this question, where in the world have you purchased a pot or pan that is lined with spray paint?

I thot it was a slow cooker. So I can't rate it by what I thought it was....but It's a good electric skillet. It also only has one temperature control so both sides have to cook at same level. I definitely didn't pay enough attention to my purchase! My fault...so it works great as a one temperature control electric skillet with two compartments and looks gorgeous.

Works great if you're cooking 2 different dishes

This is mostly plastic except for the pot. The pieces are of cheap quality. Like what you’d expect opening an Easy Bake Oven for a kid. The handle on one side has a stress crack right out of the box. The non stick coating isn’t even. It’s thin in some spots. The metal appearing pieces on the knob and handles are metallic coated plastic. Even if it didn’t have a cracked handle, it’s definitely not worth $70. Feels like more of a $30 item. No I won’t change or remove this review for any sort of benefit. The buyers deserve to know.

I am just so excited over this electric cooking pot with dual sides! This electric cooker is also a fryer so you can either fry up steaks and it gives it a nice sizzle or you can put it on low or medium to simmer say something like chili. Also, what is really cool is when you take the dual pot off and there is an electric burner that you can also put any pot on to simmer or boil water or anything for that matter. This electric cooker heats up very fast and gets very hot and works so good and I am just so pleased with it! This electric dual pot is nonstick and cooks evenly and what else I like is that it’s 3 inches deep so it will hold a lot. This electric cooker is 100% food grade high quality with a diamond pattern on the bottom to fry better. This electric cooker can hold 5L all together in one pot. Also, there are feet to hold up your cooker and let’s circulation all around. One thing to remember is that the handles and the handle on the lid are made of plastic so it cannot go in the oven. There are also two silicone ladles that are very nice as well. This electric cooker is dishwasher safe in measures at 11.5 x 11.5 x 3 making this quite large. This electric cooker is made for frying simmering and steaming your food, and it cooks easily and safely. I find this to be an excellent value for the price!! I would highly recommend this all day long!!

I compared probably ten pots at the same time and I finally landed on this one. Very easy to clean (not sure if it’s dishwasher safe I didn’t risk it…if you tried please let me know), and it boil water fast. The only complain I’ll give it’s the handle is made from plastic, very cheap feeling. But other than that it exceed my expectations

This pot was nice theoretically. Aesthetically pleasing to look at and easy to use, this hot pot set would have been awesome if not for the inner coating peeling already after 3 uses. Garbage, would not recommend.
