Slight power issue/AFTER 10 Months heavy usage -THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING.
Works pretty well - some of the ultra-soft crayons I use break off occasionally, but the majority of those I've had to hand sharpen before, (because of difficulties with hand-held sharpeners), are absolutely fine. Having the 2 size holes is a godsend, & replacing the blades seems to be quite easy to do if & when it becomes necessary.. It comes with twin replacement blade units, but I don't know how easy it will be to source any more of them.... The only drawback so far is that it won't work with every USB adaptor I have. some of them obviously don't have sufficient power output. 10 MONTHS LATER!!!! - It's pretty much crapped out on me, it's had some heavy usage, but even so, power has become variable, power socket doesn't fit properly, 'dies' for no apparent reason occasionally & not only are both sets of blades worn out, (usage again I guess), but it's impossible to find replacements for it without buying another one. Will be trying an alternative next. THINK TWICE BEFORE BUYING.

Works well
Looked forward to try this item, because the small manual sharpeners are not comfortable to hold and doesn't sharpens nicely. When it arrived I was little bit disappointed because on the shiny surface was visible marks making sharpener no more shiny on some places ( sides and rubbish drawer). Its like the sharpener been rubbed many times against something. I like pretty stuff so this puts me off from first place, but decided to try it any way. Connected USB cable and put pencil in the smaller hole. Holded sharpener and pencil tiddly while using it. Sharpener sharpened pencil nicely must say, few other pencils came out nicely too. Emptied drawer but some wooden bits left behind the blades bits so used slim stick to pull it out. I like the fact that can use it via USB cable, but can switch it with batteries as well when needed.

Sharpen any pencil in seconds, safe for kids to use
The media could not be loaded. Much better than using normal pencil sharpener, just plug into a USB socket or power bank and push the pencil down for a few seconds and it is done. Nothing wrong with a hand twist sharpener but this just looks that a little more stylish and convenience. My kids now have full set of sharpen colour and normal pencil as they both fight over who can use the machine. I have not measured how long the 4 AA batteries last but we have gone through at least 20 pencils and the AA batteries is still good.Sometimes if a trunk of lead broke and stuck at the bottom of the blade the machine will stop working, just open the case over the bin and poke something through to get the lead out and it will be good to go again. There are 2 different size cutter and it comes with both spare cutter to replace once they are too blunt to work etc which is a really nice touch.

A bit addictive 😁😁😁
All my pencil tips kept breaking off and it was a chore to sharpen them, especially when the children kept taking Extra long to sharpen them. This electric sharpener is fantastic, I love the fact that it has a USB Connector as it works better, don't have to pay extra for batteries and it works at the same speed at all times.DON'T USE LATEX or RUBBER pencils. It does sharpen them, however, due to the flexibility of the "shavings" it wraps around the sharpener.Unit won't work if the compartment isn't closed properly. I haven't had to replace the blades yet, so can't feedback on that.

Useful to have
I liked how easy it is now to sharpen all my pencils. It's runs quieter than i thought. Only dislike is it's quite difficult to remove a broken lead at the base of the sharpener which prevents the pencil from being sharp. i had to use the sharp blade of the cutter to slide the broken lead out. Out of 10 pencils, 2-3 broke so i found myself needing to keep my cutter knife close by. I guess you gain some, you loose some. Overall still a plus to have.

Not very sturdy, a bit finicky
It’s not as sturdy and seems a bit finicky. You have to have the pencil in just right, not like the office ones that you just shove the pencil in and it quickly sharpens it. It’ll do for now, but if remote learning carries on I’ll invest in a better quality one.
