NEEWER 59"x79"/150x200cm Light Reflectors for Photography, Portable 5 in 1 Collapsible Multi Disc with Bag - Translucent, Silver, Gold, Black, White Diffuser for Studio and Outdoor Lighting

I’m a person who likes to learn photography and wanted to explore the high speed exposure shots. So I got myself a flash gun (Altura Pro Flash Kit for Nikon – You can check my review on that in its amazon page) and wanted to find a reflector kit which would be cheap yet usable.So due to the price, size (I preferred an elongated on opposed to circle since I was going to capture water droplets, splashes etc) and the reviews I went with this one: ‘Neewer 5 in 1 Portable 24 x 36"/60 x 90cm Round Collapsible…’.So I’ve used this kit for that and found to be good for my need. You can see the images I took with these. In some pics I’ve used the diffuser in front of the flash gun and others the white reflector which reflects back the light coming from a camera in front of it (angles must be set properly not to directly reflect the light in to the camera. In both cases the reflector/diffuser were set as the back drop of the photo. Obviously I had to remove the backdrop imperfections in the post-processing of the images. The main way to make it easier is to set the light to over expose the reflector/diffuser so that the light anyway washes out the backdrop needing minimum adjustment in the post-processing.It has most of the reflectors and diffusers you can think of. It has the diffuser with the tensioned ring, so when you need to put other reflectors you put that on top of the diffuser (which is the norm for these type of cheaper kits).I’ve used it for few months, so far it has worked out fine. And for my needs it’s a perfect match.So, in short:Pros:- Has all the reflectors/diffuser needs of most- Very useful if you need an elongated shape (portrait type capturing)- Cheap price- Can be put in a small round cover – very easy to travel withCons:- None that I can think ofIf my review helped you in some way, please click the ‘Yes’ button below. Oh. My. Gosh.!This has been a huge game changer in my FOOD photography work and journey. Recommended to me by one of my lovely mentors [foodtography inspirers please check out Darina Kopcok & her LightShaping e-book], it completely helped me understand how to shape light for food.I use the diffuser over my window and it fits perfectly, if there's much wind I hold it up using a clamp against the window rail. As well, over my artificial light [so if you do not have a soft box yet, don't worry, this works fine]. Just learn & understand how far to position the light depending on the effect you'd like for your food/product photo.Would 10 out of 10 purchase again.P.S - My first neewer product and have bought other Neewer items since [Backdrop stand, c stand, ring light, etc.].

More for a studio. Make sure you have the reflector clamp and using with a light stand. Otherwise someone will need to hold this. But its huge. Not the one for a beachnif shooting alone.

This reflector took my portrait photography to a new level. It's quite versatile and very portable (although learning how to fold it up takes a few tries). I tested it one morning at sunrise by the lake. I had my model face south as the sun came up (east) over the horizon. I placed the reflector (using the gold surface) to her right (west) so that it would reflect the light to the side of her face that was shadowed. The difference was very noticeable when I compared it to other shots I took in the same position without the reflector. It balanced my subjects face and created a very flattering warm light. I've played with some of the other surfaces also (silver and white). It's been a real treat experimenting with this accessory, and quite honestly I can't believe I've gone this long without a reflector. The quality of the product seems on par with the price. I think it'll last me at a few years before I need to replace it. All in all I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to play with and manipulate natural light.
