BUY WITH CONFIDENCE- I was very concerned that paying £25.00 for a decent chef knife it would not be up to the standard of one of the high priced recomended ones at around £60.00 - £200.00 mark. but wow i have to say i am more than happy with this i have used sabitatia french knifes and they are sharp but this knife puts them to shame while the french knifes do a great job there is still resistance but with the chefs path its just glides though anything its a joy to use. i tryed it on leeks and i could cut cut paper thin slices with ease the french knife could never do that. also i was not looking foward to haveing to buy a wetstone to sharpen it but you can use a good quality knife shapener. only time will tell if it keeps the Razor sharp edge but according to the instructions and a few you tube vids you only need to sharpen it once a year for normal use twice a year for heavy use. there are better knifes out there (not by much though) but you would have tp pay at laest £100+ to get one and you would have to use a high quality wetstone at least £100+ for the price this is an outstanding well balanced utra sharp knife. the only downside to these kind of knifes is you have to wash them by hand and dry them out stright after use (no putting themi in the dishwasher or leaving them in the sink.but its a small price to pay for cutting perfection. in conclusion this knife is fantastic and at the price its shocking how good it is.

For £19.99 I was shocked at how good this is! Packaging was aesthetically pleasing and well made, and felt like there should have been a much more expensive item inside. Onto the knife, Wow! So sharp that the protective tip had actually split in two, literally like a razor, cuts thin paper mid air easily. Medium to light weight with a beautiful black handle. The sheath was a nice touch to keep this knife safe near fingers when not in use. In short very impressed and this knife is worth a lot more than its selling price. Will definately buy more from this range.

I've been looking for a new knife and saw this on Amazon, loved the description and to hear the a tiny bit about the background of where the knives come from but as well as this I read through review after review and thought at such a competitive price and reviews like it had, I thought ' think I've found the 1 I want.' I ordered it and was so excited knowing it would arrive the following day on Prime. It arrived and was packaged beautifully. It also has a blade protector which is very useful as the knife is seriously sharp. The engineering of it is gorgeous and it's a pleasure to handle whilst preparing your ingredients and wow it'll make any amateur chef feel like a professional. Every home should have one. 5* stars . Thank you for producing such a super quality knife.

Good blade. Cut my finger within the first week, went straight through - so sharp that I didn't even realise I'd done it. The blade seems to be of good quality, the size is perfect and seems to be overall good value. "Why four stars, then?" Great question; the handle. The handle is a good size, fits nicely in the hand but just doesn't *cut* (sorry) it for me. Having been a chef during my early twenties, I much preferred knives that had a good hefty handle with a good bit of weight to them. That's where this knife falls short. But hey, for the price, can't expect the stars. Tldr; Quality knife, good blade, handle a bit on the light side.

As a professional chef, I wanted a new everyday work horse. I wanted quality but really didn’t want to spend the big money. This product blew me away. The packaging is sublime really impressed. The handle is quality and fits so well in your hand comfortable and easy to use. The craftsmanship of the blade is perfect light in hand ,well balanced , and sharp. Truly a quality product and a pleasure to use. The knife is perfect for vegetable and meat prep. A true quality product. Over the years I have used many knifes and this one is one of the best. This is the first proper chef's knife I've ever owned, and it did not disappoint! Superbly-sharp, and really professional-looking. Does everything you'd want to do with any kind of food. i read Anthony Bourdain's "Kitchen Confidential" some years ago and I remember that he wrote that a chef only needs one sharp knife in the kitchen, a good chef's knife. Well, this is the only knife I'll need. It also comes with a nice sheath, which is very useful as the blade really is razor-sharp. I also bought the Chef's Path knife-sharpener at the same time, so the knife will never lose it's edge. I really couldn't recommend both of them more! Not just great value for money but a real pleasure to use!

A very nice cook's knife. It arrived in a very fancy presentation box - great as a present. It's a good size for a cook's knife. The knife appears to be well made. The blade is robust and not flimsy. The edge is razor sharp. The handle is very comfortable to hold and use, and it's made of very dark hard wood. I'm not sure its it's dishwasher safe - I think it's better to hand wash it.

This is one of the best knife I have used as a chef. It's sharp, looks expensive, comes in a nice box, and it's very cheap. But don't let the price deceive you; you are getting a steal. This is the second time I've bought this knife. The first one did a very nice job for me for a year and a half. I used it heavily as my work knife! However, I have to add that I am not happy with the delivery companies neglect and Amazon's poor response! None of which are this third party sellers' problem! Buy this knife.

Colis reçu très rapidement. L'emballage a beaucoup d'allure. Le couteau est fourni avec une petite chamoisine pour l'entretien et une protection pour la lame. La lame est par ailleurs très bien aiguisée, le manche et l'ensemble du couteau semble de bonne qualité. Je recommande.

Ich muss ehrlich gestehen, ich habe eine Schwäche für Messer. In diesem Fall ist es allerdings als Geburtstagsgeschenk gekauft und ich bin super happy darüber. Nicht nur das Messer sieht super aus, sondern die ganze Verpackung wirkt sehr hochwertig. Beim Messer selbst fällt auf, das der Griff optimal in die Hand passt. Es liegt eine Schutzhülle für das Messer bei. Die würde ich definitiv auch verwenden für die Lagerung, denn einerseits ist es sehr scharf und anderseits soll es keine Schäden abbekommen.
