DB LinkBTP2 Positive Battery Terminal

Good solution for moderate system upgrades
Good looking. Solid. The holes for the wires are plenty deep so less worrying about stripping too much insulation and whether you can get enough of the conductor under and past the set screw. The one I received actually had the set screws for the smaller lugs on the side like the BTN1 I got for my negative side. That's good though because I wasn't 100% sold on the 1 lug having the set screw so close to the tip of the conductor, so bonus!Pros:I was actually able to fit #2 welding cable in the lug sized for #4 wire, but these are usually a little bigger than the rated size.Good looking. All allen head set screws ( philips and flathead/regular/common tend to be less able to handle sufficient torque for tightening )Cons:None so far. Didn't have to shave the gap on the clamp on this one like I did the BTN1 I put on the negative side.

Looks great but has some issues
I got both BTP2 and BTN1. Positive to patch in an amp, and negative to visually match positive. They may look stunning but both have this confounding design problem that was mentioned by another reviewer. The inside diameter is too large for what its critical mission is.The clamp almost (but not quite) fully closes before it is able to clamp down on the post.If there is any normal reduction in post size and it will not secure.I will try running a file thru the gap to widen the end spacing and hope it doesn't do something strange to the plating. And as per the other reviewer, I'm now looking around for a cover for the positive side.

Fine but didn't fit without a little work
Didn't fit the posts of my battery (using an Exide battery from Home Depot in a 1999 4runner). Using on the negative post, so I just dremeled the old battery clamp and used that as a shim/sleeve. Wish it was included. Nothing stripped or felt iffy when tightening though, utilizing all 'ports' currently. I had to take it off several times trying to get it to fit and it showed no wear.So yeah, good in my book. I take off my negative terminal once a week doing some project so I'll update if it fails, but after probably 10 times of removing/replacing it's still fine.

Works great, solved my voltage problems.
Ordered one of these to replace my failing factory battery terminal. My OEM terminal was losing connection to the battery cable which caused the cable to get very hot. This in turn heated up the battery post. This could have potentially been a very bad problem. As soon as I installed the new terminal my voltage issues were gone. No more hot battery cables or battery posts. I was worried about the quality when ordering, but the terminal is very well made and very strong. I could really torque down on the cable when I needed to.I used a similar Stinger brand battery terminal years ago but I prefer this terminal now. The Stinger terminal was three times more the cost as well,

Excellent Battery Terminal
This is a very well made and very nice looking battery terminal. On the front, it measures 1 3/4 x 3/4, and the set-screws use metric Allen wrenches of 5mm, 4mm and 3mm for the different gauges of 2, 4 and 8, respectively. However, the picture above is NOT what it really looks like. My attached picture shows both the positive and negative terminals that I ordered. This is not a bad thing, just making sure future buyers know this positive terminal actually looks the same as the negative terminal, models BTN2 and BTN1, respectively.....with the exception of the + or - stamping on top of them. Highly recommended for a very nice looking setup!

Makes your battery look expensive!
I posted my review for these on the negative terminal. Although there is a large difference in electrical energy from positive to negative, the composition of the terminals are the same and this one is of the same high quality that the negative terminal was! Fantastic terminals! My only suggestion would be maybe offer them as a set with a slight discount? I can see where there are times where someone would only want one terminal, but trust me, if you replace one of your terminals with these, you'll be getting the other one soon because your old terminal looks like a piece of poop next to one of these! :)

wish i had got this sooner
what a difference installing this item has made. I had low or high voltage codes that I thought were related to the battery and alternator. replaced them both, a couple codes cleared. 9 codes cleared and my system sounds great and the terminal itself is looking pretty slick. I buy a lot of little things and 1 in 10 buys go above and beyond expectations, this is 1 of those.

Love it!
Okay. So I own a '99 Dodge Ram. And proudly I went out to remove the build up on the terminals only to remove the connection also as it had corroded. Bummer for me. And I wanted an easy to replace terminal. I have extra stuff tied to my battery (aftermarket stereo & stuff). I looked up a video on YouTube on how to replace the terminal. Bought this through Amazon. BadaBING, BadaBOOM...done in less than 20 minutes! PS: I'm an over 40 female with a little skill in using tools but that's about it. Love this terminal.
