Excellent replacement for my broken Dell Inspiron power jack installed in five minutes.

Be warned!
This was purchased to replace a damaged harness/dc jack in dell Inspiron 3505 laptop for a customer of my partners however although it provided voltage the laptop could not detect the correct adapter so the charger was tried on an XPS 13 ( same output 19.5V 2.31A) and worked fine and detected the charger as genuine dell - so this item clearly causes the laptop not only not to charge but also does not detect it has a correct dell charger connected - so be warned these are faulty or i may have just got a bad one.
