Why did you pick this product vs others?:Has worked great so far. The suction cup fell off i hot weather so I will see when I get into some 100 degrees temps.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Was originally using the suction cup that came with the mount to no success on the rear window. Kept coming off. Tried this alternative and it has not fallen again since.Stickiness:Sticks well and did not move. Much more reliable than the suction cup. Would have preferred the suction cup but this works very well.

This mount, for the Rove 4k dash camera, is a product that I wish I had known about sooner. I struggled with the suction cup mount for a couple years, reattaching it when it fell down when it got too hot or cold. I really appreciated that they included a static cling vinyl “sticker” that goes on the windshield first, so that if I ever do want to remove the adhesive mount, it would be mush simpler to remove the vinyl appliqué. We’ve had it installed for a couple months now, and even after a frost that occurred the other night, the mount is still hanging on strong!

I go through windshields more than the average person. This is the $15 tax you must pay every time you get a new one. The adhesive is so strong that you can't reuse it. That means it's of great quality. The only downside that once it's on there, it's part of the windshield and has to get replaced with it. The bulky suction cup that Rove includes with the cameras they sell will absolutely fall down eventually, so these more compact adhesive mounts are all that will work in the long run.

A bit priceyfor what it does but avoids having to re-install the suction cup every month to keep camera from falling off after inevitable loss of suction over time. Just be really careful to align properly to avoid a tilted camera angle.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I purchased this after the original T mount (that interfaces with the channel on top of the camera) broke. The new mount works great. The issue I have is with the adhesive to the wind shield. We're getting into summer temps and the heat from direct sunlight softens the adhesive enough that the mount and camera has fallen off my wind shield a few times. 2-3 hours of direct sun (southern US, 90F+) is enough to cause failure. The original adhesive that came with the camera worked great.

The mount that came with my Rove 4k dashmout broke. This is a great replacement. Easy to install. Fits perfectly with my dashcam.
