Quick and easy - looks great
I treated oak sleepers with this product. I chose the natural decking oil 5L can and got a lovely it result. See before (silver grey) and after (darker) images. Was slightly darker again after 24 hours. Product is milky when first applied which is good because you can see if you miss bits. Darkens down after an hour. Dries quickly on a warm day. Applied with a brush. Shake thoroughly and often to keep it mixed.

Good quality product
Very easy to apply , very pleased with the results after only 1 coat, may do another in a few weeks. Only did it last week so don't know how if the appearance will last. The deck is 14 years old, usually use clear oil but it was looking tired & grey so tried the natural oak, used 1 full tin & just a small amount of 2nd tin (covered 5 boards) deck is 3mts x 4mts approximately. Would definitely buy again.

Good finish, didn't go as far as expected.
Treated deck, which had not been done for several years. Grooved boarding 15ft x 7ft2ins - 4.5m x 2.2m approx.Applied using 5" paint brush, goes on slightly blue coloured so you can see where you have been. Can covered 9.75sqm with one coat. This may have been due to very porous wood.Pictures are after this single application. Might wait until next year to do again!

Good uv decking oil
I used the uv decking oil, colour natural, 5l, 2 coats, 12sqm of decking.Worked very well, easy to apply, gives lovely shiny golden tone to the colour of your wooden decking. When it applies it looks like milk, but it dries down completely clear. As it applies like milk its consistency is very thin. But this thin consistency helps to get into the little gaps of the wooden texture. I applied with a decking brush and it was very easy.I have about 12sqm decking and the 5l were more than plenty. I have about 300ml left. The oil leaves a nice, slightly sticky texture once dried, which makes the decking less slippery and gives the feet a good grip on the decking.Overall I can recommend this product. It's the second time that I have used it. I used it 2 years ago and had an equally good experience last time. It should last us another 1-2 years.

Boston Teak - nice mid brown colour.
Writing this to help others with colour choice as I gambled on whether this would be ok. I bought ‘Boston Teak’. A nice deep brown with a subtle red hint. I had previously tried ‘Hampshire Oak’ but it was too dark - close to black. On opening the tin it looks like the colour of caramel and is quite orange in tone (minor panic when I first opened a tin!) but fortunately it dried much darker.Coverage is ‘ok’. It took me 8 tins to do a large area of decking and multiple coats. Probably slightly more than I would have needed if I had stripped it right back to bare wood (I lightly pressure washed it before staining but this didn’t remove all the old stain).Too early to comment on durability but the colour is perfect. See pics for difference in shade/ sunlight and before/ after. Hopefully useful!
