I waited a couple of months after use to be able to write a honest review. I purchased this for my husband to carry to the beach. We have not gotten the chance to carry it there yet, but it has come in handy on finding our property line corner pins in our HOA subdivision. The survey we had done made the property line look further over and at an angle according to our neighbor. We used the metal detector to locate the pins and found that the survey was accurate and that one of the neighbor's irrigations heads are on our property. We are building a detached garage and putting up a fence. You have to fine tune this to the different metals. If you have all the metals around your house it is no issue. We are still getting use to it but are loving it. We did have trouble finding where to pull in the headphones, but finally found it. Overall this metal detector is a great non-expensive beginner's detector. It is enough for us to have our fun with. Now to keep the husband from digging holes everywhere in our backyard when it detects metals may be a never-ending task. I'm just glad he loves it.

Works great

In the past I had a very expensive detector, but I sold it. I found myself wanting to have a little fun with the grandkids but didn't want the expense of a professional detector. This filled the bill. The discrimination mode was quite accurate. I placed several items in the yard and set the detector to only detect certain kinds of metals. It didn't beep at all over those that were excluded. I was impressed. For me the weight was also a factor. It is light weight and adjustable. Hope you enjoy yours.

I wanted to share that I've been really enjoying the PalliPartners Metal Detector. It's got higher accuracy and is adjustable and waterproof, which makes it perfect for both adults and kids. I actually used it to find the border markers on our property, which saved us a lot of money. It's been super helpful and fun to use!

The metal detector we purchased was definitely the right choice from many offered on Amazon. It was extremely easy to use, and accurate. It was extremely lightweight so that even my daughter could handle it with ease. Within a few hours of having operable were able to find the first treasure at the public beach in San Francisco which was a hypodermic needle which goes to show how accurate it was.

It has to be calibrated. So don’t think you will immediately be able to use it. To complicated to calibrate. And how do you know it’s calibrated? Spend a little extra and get a better detector. I call this a toy.

I purchased this in August for a birthday gift in October. My husband really likes his metal detector. This came with a tote bag,shovel and headphones. He takes it everywhere. He's found a lot of coins and his biggest find was an antique hammer. He likes going to the lake when the water is down to search for lures. This is the best gift and it keeps him busy.
