Ideal little shaver! Buy it! :)
Very impressed with this lovely ladyshave. I did a lot of researching before settling on this, and have no regrets whatsoever. It is compact and just lovely to use. It wins hands-down for speed of charging - most competitors need a minimum of 8 hours for are a lot more expensive; in fact I initially forgot how rapid it is to charge (only 2 hours), and so thought it had arrived semi-charged, and then to last for 100 hours! Just brilliant. It performs well, only needs the slightest touch, and is very useful to use in and out of the shower. I also like that it has a power-saving button. It is easy to pack for travelling and a lovely pleasing colour (I chose the aqua). I have 3 sisters - and know exactly what they will be receiving for their birthdays …. :)

Useless and ineffective
This is terrible. I have developed a peach fluff on my face (now I'm 46, seems about right). Bought this to see whether to explore shaving or leaving. Well, it's useless. Shaved off half the hairs, looks ridiculous in the light, so I had to use my husband's Philips to fix it. My daughter tried it on her armpits and legs - also useless. Now unable to return. Invest more money and get something better. Another electric item that will sadly end up in landfill.

Well I read the reviews and thought let's take a chance as many had negative views. Well first of all I forgot to take guard off so was thinking maybe the reviews were right, but once I found my mistake there was no stopping me. Excellent little shaver so easy to use, no more nicks with a razor. Impressed so much going to get Granddaughters one too.

it works!!!
I hope this helps someone..I've been searching, on a mission for a great shaver that does it all.. i've not found that yet !! BUT I have found a couple of good shavers for different purposes, one daily use and one for occasional use and travel. I've tried and returned many top brands at different prices.. I have been looking for anything that gives a close shave, no matter how ugly it is ! and I think I have finally found myself two good shavers... for now anyway !My thoughts on the two I decided to keep... Gobare by magnitone is one of them..THE GOOD STUFF - firstly we all know any shave with an electric shaver wont last too long, thats just the deal, no fault of this shaver. And we all know nothing shaves as close as a razor with soap in a hot bath! BUT this little number does give a VERY good smoother shave IF you have time & patience to go over it a while... if not it gives an acceptable quick shave, leaving a teeny bit of stubble. I was pleasantly surprised by its performance...it's basic and did better than the well known brands 3 times the price. its lovely, with a retro feel in light powder blue, it feels sturdy and fits nice in your hand. Comes in a nice box with a bag, palm size, with a protection guard, easy travel lock setting and removable washable head. It's light weight, simple to use and dinky enough to pop into your bag. Especially ideal for travels and back packing, no extra heavy plug to pack. I use my mac phone charger plug to charge it, computer or power pack. the light will change to show its fully charged. ( i have fine hair..which weirdly doesn't seem easy to shave! the trick to get a closer shave, for me, with this shaver, is to go in all directions, go slow and lightly over the skin. Pull looser areas tighter. Don't press down hard or you'll push the movable head in so it has less skin contact and the sides will just be pushing against you, so less effective and will cause you to get sore if your sensitive. I also recommend your legs are very lightly exfoliated, I gently wipe over with a muslin face cloth in the shower. and warm skin up before and during)CONS - it takes a bit of time to get a closer shave! I have to go over and over lightly for a while. It does say its wet and dry, yet the instructions say to keep away from water! head is a bit stiff to pull off to clean, but you get used to it. You can only do a dry shave. With such good packaging and product look I feel the bag is pants and lets the whole look down ! a nice quality cotton or velvet bag would have been nice. I don't recommend using anywhere near bikini area..!WHY I KEPT IT - to be honest i really did ponder on this one due to it being so slow to get a closer shave. I'd spent so much cash on trying out different shavers and returned them all.. i kept this one because its got such good pro's and it's travel conveniency out weighs the cons . its cute, small, light and so handy for travelling or as a back up shaver.. and I can find a nice bag to put it in...but the main reason - it offers an effective (be it slow) good shave.. and for its price it's worth it.The second shaver I purchased is a men's panasonic ES-PF31.The first mens one I tried..It's pricier, but not thee most expensive. it gave the best shave out of all the women's shavers I have tried, it's lovey to use, but it's quite powerful so don't press hard or go over areas too much. My best smooth shave outcome - warm legs up, slather loads of cocoa butter or cream and shave over in all direction a couple of times, cream legs after and your done. The shave lasts a teeny bit longer, is closer and its so so ridiculously quick! but its ugly and bigger than a female shaver, but much lighter than it looks and feels nice to handle. it took me a little courage to try this .. but it gives a closer shave.. and so so easy to clean, just pop head off and run heads under hot tap, then leave to dry. It's gentle on armpits too.I use this one at home a couple a times a week..and I use the little powder blue one to take on travels or when i have more time to do a mediative shave... hahaCons of both of these - no trim for bikini area! I suspect we should now be using mens shavers for our legs as they are more advanced in their build.. but I'm not sure i would go near my bikini area with them ;0

Won’t turn off!!
Bought for my daughter. Seems to work but it then decided to spontaneously turn itself on and now won’t turn off! So currently hidden in a drawer waiting for battery to wear out before returning…

Not a good shaver
The media could not be loaded. Was really excited to try this, it looked really pretty and had good reviews but it was quite expensive compared to other shavers. I’m so disappointed, it does not shave properly and I have to repeatedly go over the same area to even get a bit of hair off- and I don’t have much hair! It’s not eligible for return so a waste of money, just going to stick to my disposable ones for now :(

Not long-lasting
Second one I've had of these, both stopped working within a year.

Doesn't give a great shave
It works well the battery lasts a while but it doesn't shave as much as a razor. A good traveling size
