Good portability, Great Sound!
The media could not be loaded. Long but Thorough.Exceeded my expectations on every front, especially Bass and Volume. If you're in the market for a mid size party speaker within 30-40k, intended for either personal listening or to bop at a small gathering, you can't really go wrong with this. Ideally try waiting for a sale wherein you can get it for as low as 33-32k!This specific model does have a few cons, primarily that the one being sold here on amazon, the Wi-Fi model, does not come with a 3.5mm input jack. And the other one is the lack of USB-C Charging. However it must be noted that the battery life is extremely good. I consistently get around 14-16 hours of listening time. Do keep in mind that I usually listen at volumes between 40-60% and I barely see the need of the USB-C since the speaker charges pretty quick, a full charge in around 2-3 hours. The power cable is the standard double barrel AC input is also a nice touch, the plug is angled to 90 degrees, and the length is also satisfactory. It does come with e USB Type A to charge your devices, but it's not the fastest, and should be used in emergencies only. The USB Port does not double as a pen drive input and I find that to be a slight downside as well.Depending on your usage, it may be a dealbreaker for you, but I have been using it for two months now, and I barely miss the 3.5mm jack.My music is played through Bluetooth while outside, and it provides more than enough volume even while sitting at a distance. The bluetooth range of JBL speakers has always been exemplary, and this is no exception. I usually have my phone in one room and the speaker in another, and the bluetooth signal is very rarely lost, even going through some walls and doors! And on Wifi, the capabilities are pretty sorted as well. If you use an iPhone or Mac, Airplay works very smoothly. Have not tested with the android equivalent, but I'm guessing the experience would be similar, provided you have good wifi reception throughout your home. And the sound quality on bluetooth is very competitive, even standing up to the heavyweights like Sony ULT 7 and Marshall Tufton. You might see reviews on YouTube saying the sound quality is not that great compared to it's competitors, but after listening to almost every type of music on this device, I am yet to see their point honestly. Music with lots of bass sound really good on this due to the subwoofer, and any media in general sounds great due to the wide soundstage, and great clarity throughout the audio range. The bass on this thing is phenomenal, and it keeps the sub bass up until almost 75% volume which is very respectable for a portable speaker. The highs can get a bit overpowering at times, but you can very easily modify this using the EQ on the app. When connected to power, it goes upto 200W output, but honestly you won't really hear the difference apart from it being just a bit louder in general. The JBL One app gives you some amount of EQ tuning capabilities, which you honestly won't need, but it's there if you ever need it. The app itself is fairly straightforward, and provides basic information like Charge, EQ, Music playback and multi device connection if you have another compatible speaker. Finally, I just wanted to touch on the durability and portability standpoint. This thing is an absolute tank. It comes with a cloth covering in the box, but to be very honest you won't really need it while taking it around. Yes, it weighs almost 7 kilos, but given its build quality and soundstage, I don't really mind it, and it isn't much of a hassle to move around with. The aluminium handle is solid, and provides more than enough surface area to grab and manhandle the speaker. My boombox has been sprayed with a garden hose, fallen off a running scooter, bumped onto multiple surfaces accidentally and much more constant daily abuse. Survived everything with just basic scratches and bruises. It's IP 67 rating means you can very confidently keep it near liquids and other hazards with peace of mind, and cleaning it is fairly simple too. If it gets too dirty, just wash it with some water and a cloth. One very important thing to note would be the waterproof flap that covers the charging socket and the USB port requires a nice bump to be properly sealed, so after charging it, just close it and give it a nice push so that it is sealed as to avoid water damage.Overall I would say that this is a properly balanced product, with few cons that may not create an objection with your use case. 10/10 product in my books.

Just loved the build quality and the sound quality.
Although it's a expensive product but it worth every penny, from the build quality to the sound quality. The bass is produces depends on the music you are playing. It has a powerful bass and also manages the mids like butter. If you have a budget of 40,000 bucks you can definitely go for it . You will only know the value once you carry it and listen to it. Loved it but I think the price could be little less . Otherwise the overall product is great. It's absolutely a head turner.

Clear and loud wi-fi speaker
The sound is clear and loud. The bass is strong but doesn't overpower the mids and the high notes. Suitable for a variety of genres. But I feel the mids and the high notes can be more expansive and large sounding. Overall I'm very satisfied with the speaker as it exceeds my expectations. Tip: Go with the wifi version. It's a clear upgrade over the previous version and worth the extra money.

Terrific speaker
Afraid that earbuds would soon kill my ears, I recently got on a speaker-buying spree. I had not been paying attention and did not know how far the technology had come - I got excited and bought quite a few. This speaker is a great one - probably the best one in my inventory. It brings a smile to my face every time I turn this on. I bought it for personal, low or mid-volume listening, although they promote it as a loud, party speaker, meant to entertain a gathering 🙄. All the reviews mostly talk about one or two aspects only or tend to get too technical or abstract for me. They hype up JBL vs Sony as well. But there is more to it than that. You need to own it to understand the terrific pros and understandable cons. The fact that it is capable of wi-fi gives it some versatility and adds to the sound quality. The thing to keep in mind is that no speaker is an all-rounder. Certain tracks won't sound as great, and certain others would sound downright bad. For me, the answer to these questions lies in owning multiple speakers (ahem!). Buy JBL and own a Sony too. I mean, why not? Enjoy both. Play to their strengths. It's kind of like buying different footwear for different reasons; or like owning a bicycle, a sedan and an SUV - all at once. The trouble is that your wife won't agree with this line of reasoning at all. Also, this thing won't arrive in a discreet box, and all your neighbours would know that you have bought a boombox and would probably plan a revolt against you.

Don't buy big electronics online
My speaker came with battery backup of precisely 0 mins. Sound only plays when it's plugged In which isn't that great as a Marshall. Its very heavy & i almost fell down the stairs when i took it to nearest service center who promptly refused to take it in as its too big to service. After calling JBL for 2 weeks, finally they arranged for pickup. Now my supposedly brand new speaker will be repaired instead of replaced.Should have gone to a showroom for a big ticket buy

The BIG BOSS in Portable JBL Bluetooth and Wi-fi speaker segment.
It's really great, I'm enjoying this 2nd JBL product! The thumping bass and JBL signature sound quality are definitely standout features. It’s also fantastic that Dolby Atmos is functioning well with Amazon Music via JBL One app through Wi-FI on some selected songs, as it really enhances the listening experience. While it's unfortunate that Tidal isn't available in India and that Spotify lacks Dolby support for it, it sounds like you've found a solid solution with the available services. The long battery life at normal volume is a big plus for uninterrupted listening — perfect for a day filled with music! If you think it's a bit pricey, it might be worth considering the investment in sound quality and features you’re getting. Overall, it sounds like a fantastic product from JBL! Thanks to Amazon & Clicktech Retail Pvt Ltd for this genuine& awsome product.
