Loving it! Great value for what you pay
After my partner and I each using it for a couple months, I can confidently say it works as intended, especially if you just stick to the reccomended kernels. I also love the USB adapter it came with, makes transferring files between SD cards so much easier than using an SD card adapter. The only other thing I have to suggest has nothing to do with the product itself, definitely user error. But someone else recommended using Twilightmenu+ in the reviews here, but I wouldn't suggest using it, personally. I tried it, cuz Ive used it with my modded DSi and 3DS before and it worked great, and I *sort of* got it working on the flashcart for awhile? But kept running into more and more issues and its just not worth it imo. Its great for a modded DSi/3DS, but for an R4 just use the Wood kernel. As soon as I switched over, all the issues I was having while using Twilightmenu+ stopped. Maybe it was just me? But no matter what I tried, nothing made it work right, and my partner's flashcart was having the same issues. But the instant I switched kernels, everything started working flawlessly. So, maybe its just user error and youd be able to make it work, but in my experience, just using the recommended Wood kernel was way less of a headache.

Great product. Very satisfied. 😄😄
Works great, fits perfectly in a DS Lite, DSi and the original 3ds since that’s all I currently have. I did have an issue and reached out they sent a replacement for a sleep issue I was having and it turned out it was a bent contact in the console which I fixed and they allowed me to keep both cards. Works with Ace3ds plus files and Twilight Menu as well.

Easy to Use, Fun to Play!
I don't know what constitutes a real vs fake R4, and pardon the pun, but I'm massively late to the game. As this card said plainly, it's an R4iNP, and I still don't know what that means, but it's built as a "fork" from Ace3DS+. The default menu is okay, but echoing what so many others say, TwilightMenu++ is the way to go. Dragging and dropping the TM++ files on top of the original BIOS files from the R4iNP website, it works flawlessly. Note, if you have a hard time finding a 32GB card, which is NOT INCLUDED, go grab yourself a SanDisk 64gb from whatever, and go on a Windows PC and download Rufus, it'll format the card as Large FAT32, as selecting "Non Bootable" and the format type. I never knew how much fun it could be to revisit some of these classics. For the price of a game cart back in its prime, this setup is way better and so nice to use. You can try your hand with another flash cart if you'd like, but this one is a great bang for buck option.

DS, DSLite, and DSi histories coming together. 👍
Works as intended ✅ Easy setup ✅ Great price ✅ Time for full setup was hit or miss 〰️ Pulling cart out is kind of tight but it is secure 〰️ GBA compatibility is kind of mixed based on which DS you have. DSLite, OG DS, should be fine as they have a cartridge slots and hardware internally that can translate those GBA files. DSi, XL do not. And run GBA pretty badly, hacks included. Overall get it if you are ok with this just getting your DS library together.

Definitely worth it
Worked perfectly. Super easy set up. If your having trouble make sure you format your micro sd to fat32. That was my only issue, but was user error.

Works for old DS Lite
Got this for my girlfriend so she could have a nostalgia trip. I’m savvy with this stuff so I set it all up for her. Paired this with a 32 GB sandisk card since it doesn’t come with an SD card. Don’t get anything larger from what I understand. I suggest using Twilight Menu, it’s probably the best kernel to run on the R4 cards. MCD Network on YouTube has a super easy tutorial to follow for this specific make which makes this R4 card perfect and despite the sticker, this is compatible with NDS Lite meaning that it fits with no issues. By all tutorials I’ve seen on this Smart Update feature there’s no timebomb so functionality should be reliable for hours and hours of play time. No need to pay for NDS games used for a hundred+ and no need to chance the cheap remakes. Just get this card and learn how to set it up. Use Twilight Menu, takes the same effort as installing the base kernel. Based on the setup, you can run everything from NDS to SNES games. Once you paste the ROMs in their dedicated folder from your PC you’re good to go! I was able to download the R4 files for twilight menu from that YouTube video I mentioned above and had this card set up within 30 mins with all the Poke-ROMs that she wanted. It’s really that easy.

Works great
Worked perfectly. I’ve had this old DS laying around in a drawer forever. My son discovered it and now can play a lifetime of Pokemon content.
