I started taking this as part of my new fitness journey, on the recommendation of my personal trainer. When I tell you this works, IT WORKS. If I even skip 1 day of taking this my muscles will be sore to high heaven. If I take it, BOOM all soreness disappears. Even in the most intense of sessions where I literally destroy my limbs and my vision goes black, NOTHING the next day. It’s truly miraculous.Now, the taste? Yea it’s awful. Throw it into your shake and it’ll taste terrible. But you know what? A small price to pay for its effectiveness.

It dissolves well in water with no unpleasant taste. The only negative for me is the size of the canister it comes in. My hands are small and it is hard to open and close. My nutritionalist recommended it for my IBS and after 2 weeks I can see a positive change.

I have seen other reviews as to not being able to choke down the product given its bitterness. I am not sure they are using the same product as me but I found it had a nice sweetness to it and it mixes well with my IAMAMINO EAA that I take every night. I found a few things: First, my digestion got much better - not sure if this is what this product is supposed to do but more importantly, I found that I was not sore after working out the very next day so I could work out harder and more often - though I did not do this. I think this is a great product if you are looking for faster muscle recovery.

Mixes easy into protein shakes and no real noticeable taste. Cheaper than Muscletech with more servings and same level of effectiveness.

L-Glutamine is advertised as having quite a few health benefits. I just started taking this supplement a couple of weeks ago, so I'll need to update this review after consuming the powder for a few weeks; however, I do have a few initial comments: I have very sensitive tastebuds and this powder has no discernable flavor; it also dissolves extremely easily when I add it to my cereal or a glass of water, milk or juice. The most impressive benefit for me personally so far: the last several evenings I've had a scoop before bedtime, and I've noticed that I've been falling asleep faster and staying asleep longer.

Have been using this product for some time and still enjoy it

This is my 5th canister. All the others have had a subtly sweet taste. This one however, from lot 2932300, tastes and smells grossly sour.I don’t know if it’s contaminated or they just changed their formulation, but this stuff tastes like it would make a person sick.I would really appreciate a replacement from Double Wood and would happily change my rating as this supplement has been helpful in addressing my gut issues.
