Wonderful product, straight wire, it doesn't matter which side is which, both side does the same thing, easy on installation. The wire is very long. It would have been better if the wire had been 10' shorter. But this transformer keeps the Ring camera charged all the time. Love it. very functional. connectivity is eased.

Best part is you never have to remove the fragile cover again. I’d broken several over the years. Now have the screw in and no need to remove faceplate!!! Works as described. Battery stays in unit so if a vandal cut power line unit still works. I cut the line to length and held in place with staples. Easy to install and when you check battery in app it will say hardwired. It also slowly charges battery.

It worked perfectly on my mom Ring doorbell.

Update July 2025, the reason this charger was not increasing battery was we had to many alerts, I have ring video doorbell 2 with positive negative terminals not usb c type, once I changed camera alerts notification the ring is now showing slow battery charging increase. At least no more battery changing I hate that, this unit does work just not fast July 2024 Installed very easy just plug in , but doesn’t keep battery charged, like my dolor panels , won’t buy again , not pleased

This works perfectly with my Eufy wired dual cam video doorbell. I don't have an existing doorbell to wire my Eufy doorbell camera to and I wanted a wired one so I wouldn't have to worry about charging the battery all the time. This works perfectly and is long enough to hide around my doorframe and thin enough to go through the top of the door to plug inside my outlet!
