direct power for your door bell devices
Alright, let's dive into the electrifying world of the 18V AC Wire Power Adapter—a gadget that seems to think it's the lifeblood for smart doorbells everywhere. From its grand throne in your standard 230V/240V outlet, this little transformer dreams of bigger things, converting the raw, untamed power of your home's electricity into a refined 18 volt AC current, suitable for the high society of smart doorbells like Ring, Nest Hello, Eufy, Wyze, and Arlo. It's like the Cinderella of power adapters, but instead of losing a slipper, it's ensuring your doorbell doesn't lose power.Sporting a CE certification, this adapter isn't just a pretty face; it's got the credentials to back up its stable and durable operation claims. Think of it as the doorbell world's knight in shining armor, except instead of a sword and shield, it wields the mighty power of electricity and a certification plaque. For those who dread the thought of installation, this adapter is like that friend who says, "Don't worry, I've got this." With its 2 pin non-polarity wires, it promises an easy and quick setup, so you can spend less time fiddling with wires and more time doing literally anything else. Plus, with a 196-inch cable, you can practically install your doorbell in Narnia and still have enough slack to plug it into your living room.In the box, you'll find not just the 18 Volt C wire adapter but also a bag of 20 cable clips, because the manufacturer knows the real struggle is keeping that lengthy cable from turning into a tripwire for unsuspecting visitors. And a pro tip: if you're planning to power a doorbell with this transformer, remember to add a 50W Watt 25 Ohm Resistor, because apparently, even power adapters need a buddy system to work correctly. In summary, if you're in the market for powering a doorbell that demands the elegance of 18V AC power, this adapter might just be your plug (pun intended). Just remember, the mention of compatibility with brands like Ring, Nest, and others is purely for show and tell; this adapter is ready to mingle with any doorbell that understands its current language

Works just fine.
Work fine, but it would have been nice if the cable clips supplied were the right size for the cable.

Power adapter with a long wire
I can categorically say that this extends the battery life of the Blink doorbell camera, I had one camera 'powered' with this and one without, the batteries have ran out in the 'unpowered' camera, which was setup months after the first one, I'll be adding one of these to the other one soon. It's just a typical power brick but has a lengthy lead, which is handy. I trimmed the heatshrink a tiny bit at the connector, the Blink's screws wouldn't sit nicely without doing this.

Works for our doorbell but gives 24v not 18v
So I originally ordered a 24v but that gave out anything between 32 and 48v so order this 18v instead. This one although labelled as 18v gave out constant 23.8v so not what is stated, good news is our doorbell can take anything between 12-24v so it’s within the range. I’d strongly advise checking the output voltage with a multimeter before wiring in (if you don’t want to damage your doorbell).Good points, easy to install to your doorbell with the built in terminals and arrived very quickly. I would buy again but would recommend checking the output voltage yourself!Solid 3* review
