Content:I was skeptical that the suction cup could hold strongly on the textured surface of my Opel Insignia 2009. I was wrong. The suction cup is very sticky and pliable. It seemed to form a very good seal.The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging and all components were contained snugly in a box. What’s in the box:1*Suction Cup Mount1*Adjustable Phone Holder,1*YRU Cable Manager clip,1*Sturdy Air Vent Clip,1*User Manual,1*Beautiful Packaging BoxI think my favorite part of this is just how easy it is to get my smartphone in and out of it and how securely it holds it. The portion that holds the cellphone can accommodate a fairly large phone even with a case on it. The sides that hold it in expand automatically with the press of 2 side buttons - that my friends, is absolutely wonderful!Very simple to set up; simply remove the dial from the ball socket, slip the nut over the ball and then push the holder in place. Secure by screwing the nut and you are done. Easy.The base is secured to the dashboard with a secure suction and sticky substance. Before you stick down the base, figure out how and which way you would like to adjust your cellphone from and work it out. While you can reposition it at any time with a quick wash, best to work that out and get it right the first time. Then you simply wipe down your dashboard with the included wet and dry wipes, then stick the base down. Next, you push the suction tab down and voila, again, easy and done.There is also an included vent option, which seems easy enough to install, though I did not try this myself.I just recently purchased a new cabbed tractor and surprisingly not much thought was given to holding or storing an operator’s cell phone in a convenient fashion when operating the tractor. It is often inconvenient to dig your phone out of a pocket to receive/transmit a call or get the latest weather information while you are harvesting your crops. I have never been much of a fan of suction-cupped phone mounts because I found them cheap or flimsily made, falling onto your dash et cetera… NO MORE! but when I got this YRU car mount, it is "WOW"! This cellphone holder is rugged and fully adjustable six ways from Sunday! The ABS plastic used is of good quality and the unit feels robust and not flimsy.The holder comes with two types of mounts that are firmly attached to the phone holder itself via a ball and socket connection: a vent clip mount and a suction cup mount. While both mounts are very well made, the suction cup mount was my solution for I have a massive flat front windshield in the front of my cab. The kit contained good instructions for the proper mounting of their product as well as both alcohol cleaning and drying swabs. The suction cup is very tacky and once mounted on a smooth, properly cleaned surface it is nearly impossible to pull off without breaking the suction seal first!I liked how the holder has a built-in telescopic height adjustment to further configure your mounting. The arms of the phone holder securely hold your cases or uncased phones with rubberized, non-marring clamps. The release buttons are easy to operate and remove your phone. The phone is also cradled by a fixed bottom ledge that still allows you to attach your charging cable without interference.How did this jig perform? All in all, it cradled my cased iPhone 14 Pro and my HUAWEY securely and provided full, unfettered functionality in a convenient position. Operating the tractor over rough terrain did not dislodge my cell phone nor detach the holder itself. PERFECT!Cost-effectiveness and value: I was extremely satisfied with the quality and functionality of this product; it is well-made, rugged, and does the job it should in an efficient manner. At a current price of $29.99, I feel it is of great value for the quality and functionality delivered. The price reflects the quality of this product.In summary: The “Upgraded car phone holder mount” made by YRU is well made, will hold your cellphone securely, and provide unfettered functionality in a convenient position. I would recommend this product without reservation.I noticed it does shake a little while driving as i extended the telescopic arm all the way,but that's acceptable.I always had to find the end of the charging cable but with the cable organizer attachment ,you can clip the cables to it and its always there for you .this phone holder is really well designed and made . The vent mount attachment is very solid as well but I prefer to put it on dash board .

Sometimes you may make wrong decisions just because you thought you have known everything. Then I saw a car phone mount in the corner, it reminds me of how I got the 6 car phone mounts in my home.That is also a story about a misunderstanding. But I do learn something from the experience.At the end of 2021, I bought this suction cup car phone mount. The package is decent, the delivery is fast, so I bought another 2 for the kitchen, and gift.I LOVE this suction cup car phone mount:1）Extremely easy for me to take it off and put it back2）larger button, larger pannel, easier clamp3）The long arm makes it is very easy to reach the phone4）The suction is super strong to hold my Samsung heavy phoneThis was a perfect start, and also the start of misunderstanding. Not long after I installed the on the dashboard, it became loose. I was so disappointed so I left a one-star review before asking YRU anything.I was contacted by their customer service very soon. After reading the precautions email, I realized there are some details I didn't follow. I emailed them back and asked them: why don't you guys put the information in the user manual, do you really think installing on the dashboard need 20mins to get stable is common knowledge???Actually, They are not only put the instruction in the user manual but also send all the details in the email after the product sent out. you can see how embarrassed I am being.I thought how hard it could be to install a car phone mount. But I was wrong, The little things decide everything. If I was trying to contact YRU at first, then everything should be good soon. It is my fault to cause a hard time for YRU, but they said for all the inconvenience, they will send me a replacement. Then right in the second day, I received the replacements, not 1 but 4.YRU makes me thinking, why did I ignore the user manual in the first place. The age of online shopping:1. People are alienated, misunderstandings have deepened2. There are more and more pictures, but they are easily overlooked3. Mutual tolerance and trust are decreasing on the InternetThat is how the misunderstanding happened. You can get a lot of information on the product page, but actually, you just thought you have known the product enough. Such as when we read the reviews, there are a lot of bad experiences caused by misuse. Some details you may think it is very easy:1, Clean the dust on dash/windshield first.2, The suction cup is many time use, Rinse it with warm water to recover stickness.3,All Suction Cups are NOT suitable for leather, wall, and very curved surface.4,Press the suction cup hard on the dash/windshield for at least 5s.5,Pull the lock down the fix the holder on dash, wait 20mins to use.6,Use the air clip for horizontal and vertical blades, NOT for round and diagonal air vents.Nobody knows the whole story, most of us are the ‘blind people’ who can just get a part of the elephant. Sometimes an email will fix everything. If we can email and ask, I believe most of the problems could be avoided.This year I received an email from YRU because the supplier had replaced a batch of materials - 2000 pieces - without their permission. They decided to send a replacement to every customer who bought this batch of products. Even though I used the product without any problems, I still received the product a few days later, again, 4.I was touched by this company, that is a mistake I guess nobody noticed, but they offered the biggest sincerity.That is how to solve a misunderstanding. First, trying to explain yourself. if communication is not helping, insist on being yourself. Time will help to explain.Such as after I got the 6 car phone mount in my home, there is no doubt for me that YRU is a great brand that stands behind its products. Compare to the after-sale email I got, the long term behavior proves everything.My child is ready to go out and solving issues with his friend. I turned on the computer and wrote this review. After 2 years, other car mounts I put in my shopping cart has gone now. YRU has shown us how important to loyal to their customers.So I do suggest you contact YRU first for the question you met. They won't let you down.

Worked great for six months, then fell down and would no longer stick to my dashboard. Contacted the company, they sent me a different one that was more suitable to my vehicle and offered great advice.

I have had several mounts for my phone over the last few years and I've always had some big problem with it. I was weary to purchase this one but I'm so glad I did! The instructions to set up the mount was super easy to follow and it holds in place very well. I love that I can adjust the mount so its higher or lower to my view point or to bring it closer to me whilst driving. It super easy to release the phone from the mount as well. My only concern is the mount has loosened and fallen apart but I was able to quickly reattach everything. It did take a little while for it to stick back in place but afterwards, I haven't had any issues. I do also worry with living in Northeast Texas, the 100 degree heat may cause the mount to loose its grip but I love that the company gave me a free two month extended warranty. Overall, I am very satisfied and would recommend it to a friend.
