This wall plate is was large enough to cover the large hole left by my previous thermostat, and also includes a mounting bracket that I needed to mount my nest on to the light switch box that was used to mount my old thermostat. The wall plate matches my white nest thermostat and is stylish too.

Gets the job done

The design of this base plate is the most ridiculous thing I think I have ever seen. Rather than having a finished look, it looks like the thermostat is sitting on a plate with the edges curved outward rather than inward. 🥴 I needed a base plate and this one was 10 bucks so I grabbed it, but I will be buying another one ASAP.

This item comes with the needed metal plate. However the shape is odd. Like an inverted potato chip. Does the job but design is unusual

Cheap Plate. It gets the job done. but the quality can be better. It did hide the hole behind the thermostat

It fit perfectly for old manual thermostat holes and no need to add new holes for Google nest, it’s fits perfectly added good looking to the nest
