Confidence after chemo
I suffered with alopecia due to chemotherapy treatments. I was so self conscious about it because I was starting a new job. This product jump started my hair growth! It is very easy to use with no lingering odor. Great product!

Effective but Requires Commitment
This isn't my first time using minoxidil, but it's my first time trying the foam formula. I prefer it over the liquid with a dropper because it doesn’t leave my hair with that yucky feeling. It does change the texture of my hair, but it’s more tolerable, especially if you don’t over-apply.Here are some tips from my experience:When I first started using minoxidil, I followed the recommended twice-a-day application. However, I began experiencing severe headaches and massive shedding, which made me so depressed that I stopped using it altogether. This time around, I decided to be more cautious and use it once a day, applying a smaller amount. I've noticed less shedding than before, and the headaches have stopped. Now that my scalp has adjusted, I’m considering increasing to twice daily.Another tip: if you want your hair to look fresh, don’t over-apply. I know it’s tempting to make sure everything is covered, but when you over-apply, you end up getting it on your hair instead of just the scalp, which can leave your hair looking greasy. One important thing to remember: use it only if you're committed. Otherwise, you'll only experience the shedding without seeing the growth, as shedding happens first, and the growth takes months to follow. I wish I could show a before and after, but I haven't used it long enough to show a significant difference.

Just as Good as Expensive Brands
I've been using 5% Minoxidil from various companies for 25 years and have been satisfied with the results. It will either work for you or it won't. But when I turned 40 and started to lose my hair, instead of being in denial I started with the generic 2% liquid. When starting out you will see an increase in shedding for a few weeks and then it stops. I switched to 5% when it became available and have been using that strength ever since. For some reason as I got older my scalp couldn't tolerate the high alcohol carrier contained in the liquid, so about 4 years ago I switched to foam. Yes, there's alcohol in it too, but much less. It also doesn't leave the oily residue that the liquid does. Yes, you might notice an increase in dandruff, but I haven't with the foam and yes it leaves a white residue on your brush. It will not do much if you're already bald and is has limited results for a receding hairline. I started losing my hair at the crown and forward. As a side not and not based on any scientific evidence, hypertension runs in my family, and I have normal blood pressure at 65 years old, so if you have low blood pressure you might want to ask a doctor. This product is exactly the same as the other foam Minoxidil products and I hope it works for you too.

RESIDUE, FLAKES, WHITE CAST GALORE!
If I could leave no stars, I would. This is the worst minoxidil foam I’ve ever used — aside from the fact that there really is no scent (which even for being labeled “unscented” is still surprisingly rare in my experience), I don’t have a single good thing to say about it. The white film and residue it leaves behind are unsightly and entirely unmanageable. I literally cannot even run my fingers through my hair, that’s how bad it is, just a stiff, tangled mess that I actually have to wash out before I could even think about trying to apply it again for the next “dose”. It also irritates my scalp more than other brands and causes a lot of flaking, so basically only worth using if I have no plans on leaving the house for the foreseeable future.I've only been using it for about a week so it’s obviously way too early to say whether or not it’s effective at doing what it’s supposed to do, but it’s also highly unlikely I’ll ever actually find out cuz even though I made the mistake of purchasing a 3 month supply, there’s just no way I can continue using this stuff. The downsides are just not worth it, especially when there are plenty of other products on the market that work and don’t carry the same negative side effects as this one.0/5 ⭐️s…. Would NOT recommend! 👎🚫

Not my favorite!
This foam is more like shaving cream consistency and I feel like I have to work harder to rub it in and get it to soak into my scalp. I’m sure it gets the job done but it’s definitely not the best foam that I have used.

Not the 1 for me
I was told by my doc to buy this for thinning hair. Works for most people I was told. But not me. But after I started using it for about2-3 days I started getting I a rash on the back of neck the then overall my scalp and ears. This rash burnt me like fire on my head. I'm not giving up on the product. I'm going to ry out the oil. I have very sensitive skin from head to toe. So sometimes, it's not always the product, it could be your skin.
