great for cookie recipes
Just made my favorite oatmeal chocolate chip cookie recipe with these! Turned out great! My family doesn’t even realize I subbed in carob chips. They are happily gobbling them up!I’ve always had a mild allergy to chocolate but at 55 yrs old, mild has ramped up to significant. Carob is becoming my go-to substitute.

Next best thing to chocolate
Good substitute for chocolate. I can’t have chocolate so this does the trick when I’m craving it. I haven’t cooked with them yet but have sprinkled in yogurt and eaten out the bag.

Unusable??
I ordered 3 bags. They all came with huge clumps. Some I can’t break apart. As in photo. Ones broken apart look stale and these can’t be returned!! How can this be addressed? Very disappointed

A substitute for chocolate!
I am allergic to chocolate! So I have substituted carobfor chocolate ! The health food stores I go to don’t carry carob anymore! So I will be ordering it on line!

Great product for those who cannot have chocolate
I love these ! I cannot have chocolate and they work great in cookies! I have received them damaged though...all chunks intead of individual chips.

Good flavor
These chips have good flavor that doesn't overpower other ingredients in trail mixes. Eating them on their own they are a bit too sweet but in a mix they provide just the right zing. I do not use them for baking.

melted into a blob upon receipt
I love the chips, so I bought a 3-pack. When they came I just put them in the pantry until I wanted to use them. Now that I got them out to use, I find they are a blob. Totally useless if you wanted chips for baking. I didn't even open them because I wanted chips, not a blob of chocolate melted together. I went to return them and it says it's not eligible for return.My advice is DON'T ORDER THEM IF IT'S GOING TO BE WARM OUT. I would have thought they'd at least be in a padded, maybe even insulated package of some sort so this wouldn't happen.I will not be ordering these again unless it's winter. I will be shopping locally to get mine, even if they are not this brand.
