Took me minimal effort to install these to my DT 990 Pros after wearing out the stock pads. I'd recommend a plastic tool like a spudger, guitar pick, or something from a phone repair kit to lightly run it under the leather strip that goes around the headphones during installation. Stock pads pulled right off with minimal effort. Sound insulation improved massively, as well as general comfort. Overall I'm very impressed given the price, the quality far exceeds my expectations. I did a lot of research into potential options for beyerdynamic replacement pads, but Wicked Cushions fit the bill with a nice added customization to my choice and not just a plain black. Should I beat these up too, I'll buy them again happily.

Perfect fit. Very comfortable. Wish I had swapped for the velour on my DT770 a long time ago. I did watch an installation video just in case but it wasn’t really needed, just nice to have.

These ear pads fit my DT 990 Pro's like a glove. You have to be patient while fitting them to the frame to get the material around the metal frame. I've noticed that they produce less bass than the brainwavz xl's I was using but they shouldn't flake off which is a trade I'm willing to make. If I feel I want more bass I'll just swap in my DT 990 Pro black editions.

To preface, I have used WC for my other headphones in the past. WC has consistently high quality ear pads that are durable, fit well, and are very comfortable. I would happily recommend them as top pick for third-party ear pads. That said, these unfortunately fall short for me, and I am personally unable to use them. The main issue is that these pads greatly alter the sound profile of my headphones. I got these for my Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro headphones. My previous pads were the OEM ones that came with the DT990, and I had hardly used them so the sound profile was roughly that intended by Beyerdynamic. These WC pads change the profile by greatly increasing lows and reducing mids. They cause the headphones to sound boomy, muddying the mids and even slightly altering the highs. For someone who likes the sound of the DT990s and uses them for critical listening, this kind of ruins the listening experience. If you got the 990s and want more bass, these will certainly do the trick, but keep in mind you will lose a lot of treble. The listing says they are compatible with the DT990s, which in terms of fit and basic function is true, but I was unaware that the sound quality would be so different with these pads. It is obviously not necessary for WC to mention this side-effect, as it is technically just my own knowledge gap, but I would have very much appreciated a mention of it in the description. It would be amazing if WC had a pad designed for the DT990s that more closely matched the original sound profile. For now, I'll have to switch back to my OEM pads. Moving forward, I intend to see if I can mod these pads to get a sound profile that more closely resembles that of the OEM velour pads. I've read that some people poke holes in the sides or remove foam to make pads like these more similar to velour ones. I'll update this review if I have any luck with that.

Used this brand for my QC35's a couple times and always been happy with them. These fit the DT770PRO like a glove and are comfy to wear. In my opinion they also look way better than the original velour pads.

***Revised review Customer service was awesome at this company and sent me another set for free to try. They still fit terribly after trying the exact methods on the video but I'm changing from 1 Star to 4 Stars just because customer service was so helpful and considerate and for that, I am a fan of this company and their brand. I would love to say it is just me being picky but when I have my headphones straddling my acoustic absorbtion panel and go to remove them to use, one of the pads almost always comes partially detached and must be re-seated. The skiing is exclusively more bass-heavy but I enjoy it and have no issues mixing around it with that in mind. All in all in not unhappy with my purchase because of customer service. I reviewed replacements for my DT-770 Pros for days and finally came to rest on these simply because of the design being different and the cooling thicker padding since I tend to wear them for 8 hours at a time or more before taking them off and realizing how hot my ears are. All reviews say to get these warm with a hair dryer prior to installation so they will stretch since they are so tight out of the package. Well mine literally will just fall off of the headphones. They "appear" to fit and be the correct size, but there is zero elasticity on the part that is supposed to stretch around the outside diameter of each ear monitor. And luckily, I did not stretch them out like a saw some people recommend prior to application or else they would be unusable altogether. If the product fit tightly and if it would have come with the new acoustic cloth to cover the drivers I would have been super happy. But my main issue with my old headphones is the acoustic dust cloth has disintegrated over the past 15 years. However, looking back at the pictures and description it does not show that it comes with the fabric for the driver cover so I can not fault them for not providing it. But I will say I would not recommend if you are looking for a whole new ear padding and dust cover replacement because this is not going to get you what you are looking to achieve. I was hoping to buy the matching headband cover as well but I am unfortunately not going to go back to this. I will have to try to go with another product or go back to Beyerdynamics for the stock model. Unfortunate, I had high hopes.

Fit perfectly, feel great, and shipped quick. Quality feels solid. No problems here and I couldn’t be more pleased! Ordered these to replace the ones that came with me 990 pro’s because microfiber adjacent things make me feel weird. Sound clarity even better than originals. Would absolutely recommend !
