Personally, I would rank this maybe more as an intermediate level of drawing skills. Manga has been a new type of art style for me to draw as I find it a little challenging, however, Christopher Hart' s books are always so easily explained with step-by-step drawing samples to help build those skills. This book is no exception. As long as I take my time going over his instructions step-by-step, it can build my confidence and I can explore new types of art - like Manga - and become a more versatile artist.

This book was a gift. There are a lot of good to know tips and essentials (proportions, angles, etc). This book has convinced me that with practice, most could really learn to draw manga well. A dedicated page on the eyes would have been a great bonus. Fortunately, there’s some guidance on hair. Besides the array of characters, there's bonus content like scene tips, an easy rose, tiered cake, etc. This is an overall fun drawing book.

I received this book as a gift. I am very impressed with the layout and organization of the book. The author does a great job of building upon what he has just taught you. I especially enjoyed the tips he added throughout the book to make your drawing look more realistic. Very simple, but things I had never thought of as an amateur artist. I highly recommend this book and will be sharing it with my children.

This is another fantastic book by Christopher Hart! Not only are his lessons super helpful, his colorful drawings are beautiful. I love the colors he used so much. This book is just delightful to flip through. He is also wonderful to his fans. Love his instructional videos and Facebook page. This book is especially appealing to me because I love to draw cute manga. Highly recommended!

I follow Christopher Hart on YouTube. I've bought a couple of his books before and learned a lot of cool stuff. I can already say it's fantastic, the illustrations are great. Anyone who wants to learn to draw Manga I highly recommend it. Thanks Christopher

Another great tool for learning, especially if you’re wanting to learn how to draw Manga style. This will be a great addition to our art tools! Definitely worth getting, and right here at Christmas time, it’s absolutely a great gift for your artist or aspiring artist in the family. I highly recommend this drawing guide.

Great content however some of the pages were stuck together, making rips in the pages when flicking through the first time. probably poor manufacturing.
