Use on boat as added nightly security while on vacation
Purchased for extra security on boat while on vacation to alert me of anyone motion that could possibly be someone trying to steal my boat or equipment at the helm. Have heard too many stories of boats being taken from docks while people on are on vacation. So after purchasing a new boat and wanting to sleep better at night (for 2 weeks vaca in the FL Keys) while boat sits at dock behind rented home. So I decided to give this a try, as you just never know, and I like to lean on side of caution. Lots of boats getting taken from Bahamas recently and running to FL coast, So I wanted to test something out. Boat was docked roughly 150ft from where receiver was plugged in the house. Every night after we'd return from our night out on the water after cleaning up the boat, I would put this motion alarm on the console facing the helm. I didn't to secure it to anything I just rested it on the console, then plugged receiver into outlet in the Master bedroom we were sleeping in. To test it, I called wife from the boat once it was in place so she could hear that it receiver worked and the distance wasn't an issue (again roughly 150ft away from bedroom). As soon as I backed off the boat and walked back on to the helm, the receiver alerted her. Sure, we locked things up, we take the keys in with us every night, but when someone wants to take a boat they can do so without the keys, but they will need to get on and stand at the helm to drive. I also added a portable motion light each night that wraps on to the console T-top that lite up for more motion, so If I did get an alert I could walk out back, turn lights on in the house and look off the back balcony and see if someone was standing on my boat. Hopefully they'd just take off and no harm and I could call authorities, or If they did get things running and able to get moving, I would be on the line with authorities and they wouldn't get far. All that said, I did use it for other than home use, It worked for me. I am in now way endorsing this as a fool proof security system for your vessel, but it did what I needed for peace of mind each night. There are toons of other really expensive boat security systems, items that are out there specifically for boats.. But I figured heck why not give something like this a shot and for the price......it did the job. I will say I tested it every night once in place to ensure it worked with receiver and that the batteries were not dying or as it did get rain or just got damp from humidity overnight that wasn't stopping it from connecting and it had no issues. It is intended for outside, so I didn't think it would, but just wanted to be safe, NO issues. So that part is in your hands. Great example was a few nights my nephew and son were out behind the house fishing at the dock late and jumped on the boat to get some gear or to more conveniently pull in a fish they caught, and it alerted me from the receiver that someone walked by the helm, it was them, but that assured me just that much more it worked. Also, another note you could get alerted from other things, like birds, or if another boat goes by and maybe rocks your boat it could create enough motion and go off. But we did not have any issues of such, but just keep that in mind, guess that depends on where you, where you place it, but all possible. For now, I've pulled all batteries out and it sits in the boat box with the rest of the boat equipment I take on the next Keys trip, and I will do the same thing each trip from now on. I will try to get some pictures put up soon. If the company that makes made a suction cup style piece that you could use to secure it to maybe a console windshield, or any window/glass that might be helpful for boaters and/or others, instead of having to stick or screw a mount.. Just an idea.

Receiver out of control and how to reset receiver
In a few words, good sensors, but out-of-control receiver. Got my issues resolved after receiving seller's response (hence 2-star becomes 4-star rating now), please read update at the end. Most users have problems with pairing the sensor(s) with the receiver, while selecting the desired tune. The instruction could be better. Understand that after pressing [Volume] and [Down] buttons:(I) the window to get the sensor registered is only a few seconds (as long as the digit is still flashing)(II) as you "wave your hand in front of the sensor", the sensor detects the movement, it sends signal to the receiver. But then the sensor will ignore any movement right after (resetting?), and this "ignore" state lasts some 15 seconds. So, to pair a sensor to a tune, let's say tune #39:(1) press [Up] or [Down] until tune #39 plays(2) press [Volume] and [Down](3) while the digit display _still_ flashing, wave your hand to trigger the sensor in question(4) wait at least 15 seconds, then wave your hand to trigger the sensor(5) if the receiver sounds off the tune you want (tune #39 in this example), you're done.(6) if the receiver does not sound the right tune you want, you most likely must have missed the "flashing window of opportunity" in step (3), you need to wait at least 15 seconds again, and re-do from step (2)Now the really problem is the receiver. I got all 4 sensors paired, with individual tunes, all tested out, all working as expected (detection, angle, etc.). The receiver would randomly play tunes that are NOT CURRENTLY used by any of the 4 sensors. And at different times throughout the day, AND night, especially very late, like 2am, 3am! Weeee hours. That's when I would have to unplug the receiver so I myself can sleep and not to further enrage other family members. You get the picture.I was wondering if a factory reset to the receiver would help, but I can't find out how anywhere. Also I wish I would have known ahead of time, that the display shows a single digit (0 through 9) to indicate what tune is being played (so you can tell which sensor has been triggered). Problem is there are 58 tunes. So tune 1 through 9 are well "represented", but from tune #10 and on, they will be all the same on the display, which is the same "0". Not very helpful. So I am waiting for response from the seller. If this can't be resolved, I would have to send them back.+++ Update +++ Seller has responded: to reset the receiver, press and hold the [Down] button for about 8 seconds. This actually fixed it. After resetting the receiver as described, and pairing again all 4 sensors to 4 different tunes, I haven't heard any of the random tune(s) at all the last 24-hour. Everything is working as expected. I still take 1 star off because the huge disadvantage of not having a way to turn off/mute individual sensor/channel. I've used some other brand that has this feature. As it is now, you would have to mute all sensors or none at all.

Works but needs more Alarming sound
I need something to watch my fence doors from intruders. These sensors working well for detecting human-sized moving targets without giving any false alarm that I was worried. And my dog won't trigger them that I've tested. However, it has about 10 different doorbells without a single alarming sound which is what I don't like.

It's exactly as promised. No one gets up to my front door without me knowing it.
In fact I know before our dog does. No one gets up to my front door or leaves out of the front door without me knowing it. My living area is in the rear of the house and I cannot hear the house door bell ring. So with the Driveway Alarm it has become so easy to find out if a package gets delivered or food gets dropped off or if we just received a visitor, because the Door Bell controller is in my room. As someone walks in front of the outside sensor, I receive a 'Ding-Dong." I can control the volume and I just unplug it temporarily if my teenagers are in and out too often.

Faster detection than old one
Love the ringtone selection and the appearance. Nice sleek black, both the sensor and receiver. It seems to detect motion much more reliably and quicker than the old one, so perhaps the dual technology does make a difference. So far, no false alarms. (Tip: cover the sensor with a piece of electrical tape if someone is working near the alarm. Don't forget to remove it later!) Another tip: read and follow the instructions.

Fantastic for a drive thru
I bought this for my coffee shop drive thru. I set it up at the entrance. There are a BUNCH of different tones to pick from. Volume is crazy loud on the highest setting. Easy to set up and easy to use! Can't go wrong with it! The birds set it off sometimes too which cracks me up

Only the first 1/3 of the lights turned on at all on original set but new set works fine.
UPDATE: SGOKEEN customer service contacted me and made things right for us so with that in mind, I am updating my star review from 1 star to 4 stars.-------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW: We received our order today which was for the following product:SGOKEEN Fairy String Lights, 66 ft USB Colorful 200 Led Indoor String Lights with Remote, Waterproof Christmas Lights for Indoor&Outdoor Decoration Wedding Home Parties Christmas HolidayThe lights turned on when I first tested them out of the box (but still rolled up) but once installed all around our project/room only the first 1/3 of the lights turn on at all.Obviously, this is unacceptable so we messaged the seller and are looking forward to the seller's feedback.I will update if they do not make things right for us.

Nice lights for the price
Note, they're the lights around the ceiling and not the ones on the treeFirst warning: there's a proper end to unwind it from and a wrong end. If anything crosses while you are unwinding you probably have the wrong end. That's what I did which is why I took 1 star off. It was so easy to tangle while unwinding and it took 2 hrs to untangle it. Was going to use them for the office but instead hung them around my ceiling permanently as I didn't want to wind and unwind it again.Aside from that they're nice lights for the price. Mind you they're pretty cheap. Literally tiny LEDs on copper wire. Creates a nice muted light.Available light patterns aren't anything fancy but does the job.Timer seems pretty consistent. Turns on my lights automatically then turns them off around 6 hours later.Overall for $10 they're nice budget lights

Really Pretty
After making several decisions on a design for these lights I ended up winding them on my balcony railing and because they're so thin have been able to bring it through the door and plug it in on the inside wall. I haven't been able to hook up to my computer to play the music system. These little lights are really amazing. They're bright, visible and change modes so easily. They're also able to be controlled by voice but think that's too technically hard for me to figure out how to do that. Maybe next year! Am definitely going to keep these little lights for other purposes. Priced so very reasonably and I plan on purchasing more.
