Works Great!
I wanted a cheap way to anchor down a small shed. These are sturdy and did the job. I didn't try using a drill because my soil is rocky. They were easy enough to screw in by hand by sticking a screwdriver through the eyelet and turning. The first box I received was missing one of the eyelets, so I had to have a replacement sent through Amazon.

Good anchors for my tent.
Use them to help anchor my Shelter Logic garage in a box. Worked well, tho a little tough to screw in. But once in, they are secure.

Good Value
If you have loose soil get a corkscrew type of anchor rather than a blade type such as this. These drive in quickly, but be sure the area is free of vegetation or roots which will wrap easily. Have these to anchor my Giant Jack Skellington and they have worked well.

Very secure anchors
I use these to anchor down the awning on my RV. I have tried a number of camping stakes but found many would pull out when the ground would get too wet. These don’t. You can use a drill to install. I use the drill to start them but then did the last 3-4 inches by hand giving you a good solid grip in the ground.

Excellent product and company
I was very pleased with the quality. one broke at the weld. I contacted the company and they resolved the issue. They sent a replacement set. I'm very impressed with customer service and recommend their product.

Don't hit any roots!
I thought these anchors would be the perfect solution for holding down my metal arch bench that keeps getting blown over by the wind. When I started drilling them into the ground, I realized that as soon as the anchor blade hits even a small root, it won't go in any farther. Since my bench is under some trees, this means that it's impossible to find a spot for them where they would go in deeper than a few inches. Also, I thought I could use a drill to attach to the hex head of the anchor, but it requires a 9/16" chuck, and most drills are at most 1/2 inch. So you would either need a huge drill or a special socket that fits into your drill.

Very sturdy and well made anchors
I bought these anchors with the intention of using them to hold our beach canopy in place. We live in Corpus Christi and the winds at the beach usually exceed 20 mph. The anchors worked flawlessly, although correct preparation was key. RECOMMENDATION: GET AN AUGER BIT! This is explained below.Pros:-Extremely good construction. The steel used is thick and the welds are very well done. They run all around the eyelet and spiral.-Finding 8 anchors of this quality for this price (ours was about $22) was amazing!-Comes with a bag and extra rod to help rotate the anchors into the ground.Cons:-Paint job isn't the best. Some of the tips were chipped already when unpacked, but it's nothing a coat of Rustoleum won't cure.-Although a rod is included to help twist them into the ground, it was apparent that it would be pure insanity to use it. It is only about 14 inches long, and no matter how much I pushed down and twisted, the anchor would barely go down even in sand and would churn up the ground. I'm a pretty strong guy and probably could have done it, but I would have killed myself. Use an auger bit on a drill (we used my cordless drill). The one we used is about 24 inches. Simply make the hole, place the anchor ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE EYELET. Then pack in the sand or dirt removed and you're good to go.-The bag provided, although a good touch, isn't the sturdiest. The pointy ends of the anchors easily pierce through it, so care must be taken when they are stored in it.Fantastic product and would definitely purchase again. Remember to make your experience much easier with an auger bit.

Better than the higher priced sets at Lowe's!
I bought a 12' x 20' Advance Outdoor Canopy from another place, it is the same one that Amazon sells. However, the anchors that came with the canopy are useless. They don't screw into the ground like these. One gust of wind came along when I had three sides installed, and blew the canopy down my yard. Some poles were damaged. I fixed them with 1.5" electrical pipes. But I ordered 2 sets of four anchors from Lowes. FedEx lost the shipment temporarily. So I ordered these anchors. After FedEx claimed they had officially lost the shipment, they showed up just before these anchors. Lowe's anchors were skinnier on the rod width and on the screw of the augers. The augers on these were larger. as well as the rod widths. These did take some effort ( I had a few inches of gravel to get them through) to fully sink them in, but they ain't coming out of the ground! These are far better than the competitions anchors and less expensive.
