Just recently moved to a neighborhood with people trying to break into vehicles and houses. So this product was a necessity. As long as you buy the plug and play mounting adapter with power cord plate that wyze offers along with this, its nearly plug and play installation. Simply twist wires together with the plate that's sold separetely, mount to wall, screw into surface, then plug in. Installation was very simple, and easy. Image clarity is amazing, both day and night. Same as the doorbell camera of theirs I bought. Battery life isn't concern due to the ability to plug into 3 prong outlet with the kit they sell separate. Light is bright enough to illuminate the Marianas trench. Lots of customization to setup the range you want detection in, how bright light is, alarms or silent, etc. App is decent. Also can use sd storage for local storing video recorded by device instead of subscription if you'd prefer.

WYZE CAMERAS ARE THE BEST! This thing is so great, the notifications are awesome, the video quality is incredible. The auto zooming and focusing is awesome. I like that I am able to control the ambiance lights and once motion is detected it goes to get out now bright. Great product Great value!

Nice quality image and operation, few false alarms on the light or camera settings for motion. Been in use for 2 and 1/2 years in Minnesota outside weather. Fully satisfied. Wyze finally improved the connectivity from the old scan a barcode at a certain distance while you stand on a letter, so these are great!

After buying it, I now see reviews of folks having the same issue as us -- the cameras constantly go offline and we have to physically reboot the wifi router, cable modem, and power cycle the switches to the 2 cameras in order for it to maybe go back on. (This doesn't always work either). These cameras only worked for us for 1 week. Let me tell you why this is a really big problem: 1). You have to be home to try to get it back online... when you are on vacation, or say someone who spends 1/2 the year in Florida & 1/2 up north.... if you are away from home, the camera goes offline and leaves you unprotected and you won't be able to do anything about it. We bought the camera because of packages theft from in front of our garage, and mailbox theft, so having it offline is unacceptable. 2). The company does nothing about it. I wasted an entire 2 days on live chat -- I don't have time for that, and I will never get that time back. I don't get paid when I don't work. Even more of a problem, when I first contacted them about both our cameras being offline, they said it was because they had just updated & made changes, and we'd have to reboot the wifi router, cable modem, and cycle power on & off "only once" because of the firmware change. But my husband and I work from home. My husband's job is very stressful, and he was in the middle of a live issue (as he usually is)... we can't just power off wifi in the middle of a work day. I asked how often they would give updates and we'd have to reboot. I was told "very rarely". Well, after we rebooted everything, the cameras only worked for ONE HOUR before going offline again. So the issue wasn't resolved. And they continue to go offline. After sending them screenshots and logs and basically being a slave beta tester for them, the last email I got from the company said, and I quote, "My team doesn't have a way to interpret or access the logs and we have no control over this. What I can do is I will be submitting your feedback to the team. We won't likely hear from them but they usually solve the issue by including the fix through firmware and app updates." Any careful reader will notice: 1). the offline issue started from a firmware update in the first place. 2). Firmware updates require the reboot of router and power cycling -- so if you are away from your home for any amount of time, or if you work from home, you are screwed. 3). There's no indication that the company will ever fix this, as there was another review complaining about this issue from 3 months ago! There are other complaint reviews from 7 months ago. A security camera that is constantly offline is a complete fail, and the company does not care, does not value your time or money, and doesn't resolve the issue. 4). We are going to remove the cameras and return -- barely making the return window because we had to have Geek Squad install them for us and that took forever. We paid $400 to have these cameras installed, and now, we are going to be left without the yard lights we started with, and out $400. No accountability from the company for the money we lost, the time we lost, and the fact that we are not protected from theft all this time. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!

I wanted to update my review rating, as the code 15 connection problem seemed to be caused by either the APP itself or my Apple phone. After reloading the APP and shutting down my phone and restarting it the camera came back online, without unplugging the camera. Still learning the APP and seems to be going well. Install was easy and worked nice for a day. Now having issues with maintaining connectivity with the camera using the phone APP. Keep getting the error code 15. I can tell my WiFi is working, as other devices are communicating. The first suggested step in fixing it is to unplug it. However, this is in my second home, so unplugging it is not that easy. I will now have to drive an hour to unplug it, then install an WiFi switch so I can "unplug it" remotely, which seems ridiculous to have to do. What if I was in Europe. I searched the internet for the code 15 and it seems it happens often. Now the camera is useless, it shouldn't be that difficult to reset.

A perfect little upgrade to my garage floodlight and basic camera. Added easily to my CamUnlimited plan and it really takes advantage of tracking, identifying and the excellent low light camera. Whether it's day time, night time, with the floodlight on or off, the image is clear and high quality. With the floodlight on, it gives that little extra boost, which can be automatically on in the dark, or based on motion sensor, which provides ample light for seeing where you're going, or even deterring people who don't belong there. Sensitivity can be adjusted in the app and each light head can be aimed wherever is best for your individual situation. The camera, even in darkness provides ample light, like most of the Wyze cameras, giving you that little extra piece of mind without having to rely on the floodlight to illuminate the way. Even the exterior lights on the house don't wash the image out, or even make that much of a difference. The only drawback is to take FULL advantage of this, you need a subscription plan, however if you've already go the Wyze ecosystem, it's a no-brainer to install, and with a few minor tweaks, you can even integrate it into other smart home systems, such as Home Assistant.

Aquí les dejo un extracto de la biblia pero solo quiero ser sincero jajajaja Compré 2 y la verdad se comportan muy bien para el uso que necesito de iluminación más que nada y poder echarle un ojo a mi mascota de vez en cuando, 1 me ayudó a reemplazar 2 cámaras que tenía en la entrada principal de mi casa también, el detalle es que en este mes y medio que tengo con ellas ya tuve que resetearlas 1 vez y volver a vincularlas con mi cuenta después de un apagón que hubo en mi calle. He visto en Reddit y otros foros que tienen fama de desconectarse y no dar imagen, hasta el momento todo bien fuera de la experiencia que comenté, tal vez conforme vayan saliendo actualizaciones se resuelva eso. Si las comparo con las Wyze CAM v3 que tengo si se nota la diferencia de la calidad en la imagen, puedes apreciar un poco de más detalle, no es exagerada pero si se nota la diferencia y se agradece mucho. Las luces que tienen son súper brillantes, iluminan mi pasillo que lleva al patio trasero excelentemente, igual el frente de mi casa y el plus de que puedes programarlas para que enciendan automáticamente cuando ya anochece y se apaguen cuando amanezca está muy padre también, te deja configurar la intensidad de la luz y poner el máximo cuando detecta movimiento, sin dejar por un lado el que puedes configurar una sirena decentemente potente a mi gusto (comparándola si ya tienes una sirena para tu alarma de casa) de ser necesario. En mi caso, las tengo instaladas con unos adaptadores que cuentan con un cable para conectarlos a los toma corrientes ya que no tenía disponible instalación eléctrica para ellas y van muy bien, no pienso que sean hechas para obtener un rostro claro que te sirva de evidencia (que por cierto y quiero aclarar, que no están naaada mal a una distancia cercana) o las placas de un coche. Estoy muy contento con ellas mientras funcionen, se que suena dramático, pero es que eso de que me tiene con el pendiente de que alguna vez vuelvan a desconectarse o más grave aún, para alguien que busque depender de ellas como su sistema de seguridad y perder el video de alguna acción importante, fallaría en su función totalmente, aparte de la incomodidad de que tenga que volver a sacar la escalera para re programarlas cada determinado tiempo, me hace darle 4 en lugar de las 5 estrellas. Las recomiendo sin dudarlo como un complemento de tu sistema de seguridad o simple monitoreo, solo hay que estar consciente a lo que son propensas y si estás dispuesto a ello.
