I bought these because after 4 years of grooming my dog every 8 weeks the groomer told me they would charge me $100+ to shave him because he was matted. I knew he was not matted as I brushed him the same as always. So I hopped on Amazon and bought these for a great deal. I figured even if they got me through one cut it was cheaper than a grooming. Best purchase I've made this year! I charged them right away and they went through his freshly washed and brushed hair like butter. I groomed him four times on the same charge. There is definitely a learning curve to doing your own grooming but my puppers doesn't care and I'm usually the only one that notices. None of the components heat up. The small clippers are great for paws. The nail file works but I'm not great with it. The scissors included are not the best so I use a pair I bought years ago for trimming his face and ears. *My one warning: I banged the hair out after the first use and they would work due to a misalignment. I took the blade off, realigned it and then they worked. These are all around great clippers for the at home do it yourselfer.

Clippers are perfect

We have two small dogs, a Shih Tzu - Lhasa Apso mix and a Chihuahua - Pomeranian mix, both dogs are very jumpy when it comes to cutting their hair, even with scissors which is why we've always taken them to the groomer. I figured these trimmers were worth a try since it's 130.00 a visit with the groomer. I didn't have high expectations since we've tried multiple trimmers in the past but decided to give these a try, and boy was I surprised. We were able to trim both dogs on one charge. These trimmers do a great job, very easy to use and handle. They are very quiet, quiet enough that our dogs allowed me to complete a full trim. Something I've never been able to do. The small trimmer in the kit is louder than the large one so they wouldn't put up with that one. The battery life is very good. Color me impressed with this purchase as the one trim I was able to do has paid for it 3 times over. I very very rarely give anything 5 stars but this one came close, I give it a 4.7

My old corded, rather expensive clipper fell apart while I was groom my little one. I couldn't figure how to put it back together so I ordered this one. It is so much easier to use because it is cordless and also, it just seems easier to clip. If it wears out soon at least I didn't spend a fortune. I like that it came with extras which are all useful.

We used to have the traditional dog clippers. These are much better! They make grooming my anxious little pooch much easier for the both of us. They are so quiet in comparison to other clippers. They are light, sharp and don't get hot as quickly.

This is a great product. I was able to easily trim my dog's hair. Saving me a lot of money on groomers. Would highly recommend.
