Great for Sensitive Stomachs
My dog has a sensitive stomach and this Purina Pro Plan wet food has been working really well. The salmon and rice recipe seems gentle on digestion, and my dog actually gets excited for mealtime now. The pate texture is easy to serve, and it leaves their coat looking healthy and shiny too. Great quality overall for dogs with sensitive skin or stomach issues.

The Purina Pro line is excellent, but the canned salmon gave my dog GI issues.
After some skin issues with my dog (Australian Cattle Dog mix), my vet said to try staying away completely from chicken - I have learned that is easier said than done as it is an ingredient that is often not in the "name" of a dog food, but you can find it on the list of ingredients. I've been feeding her the Purina Pro Salmon dry food for quite awhile with good results. I always mix a couple of tablespoons of canned food with the dry, suddenly she she started having GI issues, diarrhea. I stopped with the salmon canned food, but have continued with the Purina Pro salmon dry food and a little pumpkin mixed in. After a couple of days, everything seems to be back to normal. By the way, my vet endorses the Purina Pro line as do I.do, their dedication to laboratory and years of research are important.

Always a few dented cans.
This is a great dog food. The only problem I have with it is there is always a few cans in the dozen that come a little dented I guess from shipping? But this is not really ok because when there are dents in the can the contents can spoil.

Not my dogs favorite
I think the consistency is too mushy. It’s more like a cat food. My dog didn’t seem to know how to eat it. She kept trying to pick some up with her teeth but it was too soft. She got fed up and just tried to turn her dish over every time. I mixed in some hard food and that seemed to help.
