Why didn't I get these sooner??? These bags do a great job of keeping trash away from the pump. With the windy season here there have been a lot of leaves in my pond, but the bags keep the pumps flowing nicely. They haven't clogged at all and are easy to clean.

Love the mesh bag works really well it keeps the debris from clogging the water pump. The pump runs like new without any problems with getting clogged up. Great purchase for having to replace the pump for my fountain.

It's not the perfect solution but it buys me a few weeks before my small fountain pump needs to be cleared of debris. It's a little larger than I needed, and a challenge to get it on and then reinstalled, but, it's accomplishing what I needed it to do. Happy to have an extra bag if the first one gets a hole.

When my garden fountain pump failed I tried to find a similar one with a built in foam filter, as our water feature collects a lot of leaves, and we get a lot of algae growth. I usually had to clean out the filter at least twice a month during the summer, which wasn't pleasant due to the location and access to the pump. I couldn't find a similar pump but saw this filter bag to enclose a pump to keep out debris. It is fantastic. Keeps out the larger trash and as it has a very large surface area, even if it's half covered with leaf debris, there is plenty of open area that the pump doesn't starve for water at the inlet. I wish I had known about these earlier and they would have save me a lot of headache even with the old pump that had a suction filter. Simple and works so well.
