I’m very pleased with how this kit worked. Fairly easy to do. Using my drill I had to hold it quite firmly, to avoid drill skipping about. I’d recommend having a little spray bottle of water handy to keep the headlamp wet while sanding. I just hope the good fresh look lasts. It might be worth paying a pro to seal the lamps properly now, so I don’t need to do the job again next year.

This kit really does the job—my headlights went from cloudy to crystal clear in under an hour. It’s not totally mess-free, and you’ll want to mask off the area well, but the results are worth it. Normally I am bit sceptical about products and how they work. Got this product to try on the headlights of an aging 06 Mini Cooper. I have to say I am most impressed with this Holts Headlight restorer kit and it actually works. Reviewed some videos on u tube to see how I would tackle the job. Found it very easy to use, just remember to keep the headlight lens wet at all times and use a drill if possible. Started off with the lower grade P800 of wet and dry and worked my way up to the P3000. As the pads are small some of them didn't have the grade on the back so that was a little . Did the whole lens rather than just the oxidised area in circular motions. Then finally polished with the polishing solution ( again keep the lens and sponge wet to get th results. Once polished to a nice shine, I washed any residual off and dried with the microfibre cloths provided. When dry sprayed a fine coat of the sealing lacquer. When that was dry I gave it another fine coat of the lacquer. All in all the product performed well. see the pictures attached. The PROS: everything supplied, ( except the water and a drill.) more than enough compounds provided to do more than 2 sets of head lights. Skill level to do : easy to do ( take your time, lots of water and light pressure on the drill) The CONS: The blue backing on the sponge came away when trying to take the polishing sponge off the drill. ( the sponge still worked without it.) Some of the sanding pads didn't have the grade on the back. ( but they were easy enough to sort my rubbing finger across them) ( HOLTS : maybe colour coding them might be an idea) Verdict: works well, easy to use, would definiatly recommend it.

If you're looking for a quick solution, it’s worth considering, but be prepared to repeat the process sooner than you might like.

Excellent product transformed my ageing headlights to like new , it took approx 45min per headlight ,working through the process described on the box ,take your time don't rush work through the different grades of sanding disc , good product, however don't know how long it will last time will tell.
