Read if you notice a film after applying This product actually worked really well and removed my dog scratches almost completely. At first, I was impressed — but after letting it dry, I noticed streaks and what looked like a dull film on the leather, which made me nervous. I even tried applying leather conditioner, but the film was still there. What finally worked was wiping the surface with a warm, damp microfiber cloth, then buffing it out thoroughly. We used a car buffer with a very soft buffing pad, and that made all the difference. Once buffed, the finish looked great and the film was gone. Bottom line: if you see a film, don’t panic — it buffs out beautifully. I’m very happy with the final result. Also, This worked very well for me on my couch, but I can’t speak to results on other types of leather.

I’m really impressed with this leather recolorer. I have a dog who is constantly scratching the couch, so it had a lot of visible wear, but this product made it look brand new again. It completely refreshed the leather and brought the color back to life without making it feel stiff or sticky. The application was easy, and the color blended evenly, covering faded spots and scratches surprisingly well. After it dried, the couch looked almost new. I also appreciate that it didn’t have a strong odor and dried quickly. Overall, this product exceeded my expectations and saved me from having to replace an expensive piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to restore or refresh their leather couch—especially if you have pets.

I was a bit skeptical at first, but worked great. Dark brown color was fading on leather sofa around the head and armrests. I had to apply a couple of times and I let it dry overnight. Turned out great and the sofa looks like new.

I posted before & after pictures to show the worn areas on my chairs although I am not completely finished. I only applied 1 coat on the problem areas and may decide to do the whole chair. Or I may only apply a 2nd coat to the problem areas and blend it in. I also need to apply the recommended conditioner. The arms were especially bad. The chairs are a grey/brown color so I mixed the dark brown & light grey together. I really would rather have used the dark grey but unfortunately it’s out of stock. It was worth a try and the chairs look sooo much better and am glad I tried it! The color is more brown than I wanted but it works fine and it’s much better & cheaper than having to buy new chairs. I mixed the colors with a popsicle stick to the approximate color I wanted and applied it on one chair. I am pretty happy with it so far, it looks like a new chair even though it’s not the exact color I wanted. Side note: I let the chair dry for several days & just tested it to see if the color rubs off. It did come off the arm only, with a dry cloth when I rubbed it firmly, but it DIDN’T come off the rest of the cushion, etc. My guess is that the arm was more worn so I will just reapply another coat & I think that will do the trick. Also, I am hoping the conditioner will seal it in. I’ll update my review after I apply conditioner. The actual process is easy. There is no bad scent and it goes on nicely. I used the brush they supplied on the seams & welting & a cotton cloth on the rest only bc I forgot there was a sponge pad suppled. I will use the sponge to finish the rest of the chairs. Overall I really like the way the product works and the way it looks after initial application. I am hopeful the conditioner will seal in the color on the arms and I’m NOT concerned about any transfer problems from the cushions. I highly recommend this product & will use it again. My negative is that they are out of stock on the “dark gray” color. However, I just remembered they have black. Maybe I could use that to get the dark grey color by mixing it with the light grey, but that means I would have to buy 3 jars of the product instead of 2 to get the color a want to achieve. I may just go ahead and order the black. I may still be interested in the dark grey-let me know if it becomes available.

This leather balm is the best DIY repair product I've found. I appreciate the range of standard colors that closely match those of leather products on the market, ensuring one does not have to mix and match various tubes of color to try to achieve something normal. The balm effectively addressed a range of issues, from small discolorations to larger scratches and even minor tears in the top layer of the material. For deeper repairs on my leather storage bench, I had used a different product to try to repair it, and was disappointed with the result. The balm helped cover those areas and created a seamless match to the rest of the bench in both color and surface finish. Application was quick and easy, and the balm spread evenly. A few areas that I do hope the manufacturer addresses: - Tearing off the seal of the jar can be a messy process that would be resolved by having a small pull tab - There was no guidance or instructions on cleaning or being able to reuse the included sponges - A small piece of material/fabric was included, but there were no instructions on what it was for

I wish I would have taken before and after pictures! It dried so fast with zero residue and completely transformed our worn down leather couch. 10/10 would recommend. I rarely leave reviews but this product deserved a great one. No smell. Matched the color perfectly. Super easy to use. Came with everything you need to apply.

Excellent leather recoloring balm that’s easy to apply & restores the look & feel of our leather furniture.

Really is as great as they say. I reconditioned an ottoman that I was about to throw out. It looks fantastic. I was concerned that the coloring would rub off on hands, clothing -- it doesn't. Really easy to use.

I used the product on my car seats and it worked really well. My concern is the packing of the product and the amount of the cream they add to the box .. literally half of the box is empty and I only found some of the cream inside it.
