Hung this blanket behind my Drum kit and found good results with it.

We used these to hang on the inside of a garage door. We turned the garage into some living space. So far they did exactly as we hoped. We have not used the space in winter yet. Behind the blankets we also covered the garage door with foam board insulation. The garage can be turned back into a garage if we need to later on.

I bought a few of these for my apartment to block out the sound from a loud neighbor. They definitely work just not as well as i had hoped. A review i saw on youtube recomended to use multiple of these placed on top of each other. I think that will help with the noise. Mass loaded vinyl is another alternative that works much better but is very expensive and heavy. So if you have the money i think mass loaded vinyl is a better option, but if you do buy these buy multiple units.

I bought these based on the good reviews it had about soundproofing, both on Amazon and elsewhere, but when my boyfriend and I put them up it didn’t dampen the sound at all—and we even double layered! I’m sure it’s because we put these along the wall instead of over a window or something, and I don’t know the science of sound enough to explain why that is, but if you have thin walls and a noisy neighbor, keep looking, this isn’t the solution for you.

This is a great, very large and very useful blanket for helping to dampen and control some sound. Great value for the mula.

i was a little wary but it's exactly what i was looking for: a heavy-weight, strong blanket that I can hang on the wall. I'm using it to try to dampen sound.It feels really well made and it's very thick. Fulfills my expectations exactly. I'm very happy.
