Bought to power my diesel heater, works great so far!

This works well when your corded object has only 12 volt power. I purchased a heated blanket for car travel. The 1st one I bought has a usb plug, however, it did not work. So I purchased one that plugged into a cigarette lighter (in the car). Thought it would be nice to be able to use in the hotel or house, so purchased the converter. Works like a charm! Very satisfied. Great deal for me! The only thing, it would be nice if it had an actual power switch.

I purchased this to replace a missing power converter for one of those thermo-electric peltier technology type coolers, which was later found. This product came with nice Velcro cable wraps, one for each cord. However, the power indicator light is difficult to see in bright light. So to compare this unit with the original equipment that came with the cooler, I connected each converter to the cooler. I could tell by the sound of the fan in the cooler that this unit's output exceeds the OEM converter that came with the cooler. It did get slightly warm during operation. It must have a fairly large capacitance since it draws a slight arc when first plugging it in. So I decided to look at it on the scope to see how good it really is. About the video. The first half of the video the scope is set to a very high sensitivity, and for the second half I increased the sensitivity even more. We are talking Milli-volts here, note the settings on the scope. It doesn't get much better than this, at this price point. The DC output is basically smooth as far as anything one would want to use this with.

Very well made power converter! Powers my Chinese diesel heater like a champ! I can also use it for many other things!

I think the plastic encasing and weight of this charger make it feel a bit cheap, and I had to return one because it didn't power on at all. But the replacement that Amazon sent me works well, and I haven't had any issues since.

I’m constantly using this converter to test or charge my 12 volt truck appliances! Infinite uses and a reliable power for my ham radios also!

Poor componets, , did not last but 7 days.. Used to power a small 1.5 amp electric motor .. This device is rated for up to 15 amps.. DC, it burned out or should I stopped working,, . Never got hot, it just would not provide On and Off demand of electric motor.

Lighter than expected but it does the job. Supposedly has a built-in fan to help keep the unit cool. It still gets warm but not to a disturbing level. It is quiet - there is no noticeable fan noise. I've been testing it for several days, running it continuously and no issues so far. Cables come with valcro straps. Australian plug supplied but could be swapped out and used internationally as it is removable. Overall very good, nothing to complain about.

Just installed it for my Chinese diesel heater. Van life, that's right. Hook up was simple. I'll give an update in case anything goes wrong. But so far, so good.
