This mattress cover does all the things it's supposed to do, but makes no extra noise. Granted I also don't eat or drink anything in bed so I never spill anything. The fit is perfect for a king sized bed and it doesn't move or migrate.It is a little bit warmer than without the mattress protector, but very minimal and I only noticed it the first few days. Other than that, a great price for something that has organic cotton in it. Yea, it has some plastic in it, but waterproof isn't really possible without it.I washed it before using it and it took a little while to dry on low, but it's what the directions say. So just be patient and then just to make sure it was fun y dry, I hung it up to dry overnight to be sure.Overall, a well-made, quiet product.

First night, my kid had an accident and it is indeed waterproof! It washed up nice; it's been through 2 accidents and 2 washings so far and has held up nice. It's not a tight as my former mattress protector which I initially was weary of, although it is not slipping or bunching so as long as that doesn't start, it should be fine. It's breathable and quiet as well.

Usually I buy cheaper waterproof protectors and they just don’t work well if at all. I splurged on this and will never go back. I ordered two more immediately. I’m very picky with bedding and overall this was a decent price even if more than I’d normally spend but buying 4 plus $20 ones ended up being more than this $50! This one has lasted and I love this brand. Highly recommend if you have children

Happy to report that this mattress cover is in fact very quiet! It feels substantial, it laundered nicely, and fit well on the mattress. I wish I had purchased one of these before my other mattress was ruined by a cat! ;).

We had high hopes for this mattress protector given the high price point, especially with so many more affordable options on the market. We purchased two and layered them with a sheet in between for easy nighttime removal in case our toddler had any accidents while potty training. Unfortunately, after fewer than 10 washes (gentle cycle, low-heat drying), neither protector is waterproof anymore, and liquid has leaked through to our brand new mattress. For the cost, we expected much better durability. Very disappointing.

Just as pictured and described. I like this for its smooth texture! I'm tired of the quilted ones because the uneven parts gives me uneven surface and hurts my back. And knowing that this is cotton helps too!

Update. Since writing the first review the seller reached out apologetically and offered to send new and improved mattress covers. I accepted the offer and was impressed with the service! We have only had to wash the new covers once each so how long they last remains to be seen but the quality feels better. Thank you Mattshield for having great customer service in a world where service has been lacking!Not waterproof. We bought two and use them both to protect the mattress. It still gets wet.
