hi What is the use by date for this item?
Is the palm oil sustainably sourced? How much protein per 100g please?
Is this the same as suma vegetarian sausage mix (https://www.amazon.co.uk/suma-vegetarian-sausage-mix-pack/dp/b005ddprgq)?
Does this product contain onions and garlic in spices or flavourings? I cannot eat them for religious reasons.

Excellent product, economic price
I hesitated before buying such a large quantity and tried a substitute which was, frankly, horrible. I'm so very glad now that I then went ahead and "invested" in a 10kg bag. It's delicious, and a brilliant addition to a vegan diet. (It says it's "vegetarian", but I have checked the ingredients and it's suitable for vegans, too.) If you want to limit your consumption of fried food, it also works very well baked in a hot oven for about 14 minutes, turning once during cooking. I use a foil-lined baking tray, just smeared over with a tiny bit of olive oil. I also shape mine into flat rectangles instead of roly-poly sausages as it makes it easier to cook. It costs around 50p to make six sausages or patties - as opposed to the £2.50 I had been paying for 6 veggie sausages from the supermarket. I shall consume it in 4 or 5 months, so I'm also delighted with the 10 month long "Best Before" date. Of course, you'll need to store it properly - my other "investment" has been a 20 litre plastic food storage box I found on Amazon (S & MC Homeware, £11.54) which is the perfect size for 10 kg of Sosmix, though you'll probably want also to "decant" some into a smaller pot for everyday use. In short, it's a brilliant product and I'm a very happy vegan!

Best Sausage mix,
Really good stuff used it since 1980s, you mix some by adding water, then add chopped onion and add some spices, I make them with some celery salt, garlic granules and Piri Piri seasoning, after 10 mins or a bit longer if you want (leave it few hours if you need to it does not go off) then when ready to use crack and egg and mix in as the egg acts as a binder. I just empty it on a worktop then spread it evenly with a bread knife and cut it into square-like Scottish Square sausage, it has the same texture as Scottish Sausage but tastes better. Its better than any offer you get from supermarkets for vegetarian meat-free and it's versatile also. It's a good price on Amazon as it usually goes for around £60 so amazon a wee bit cheaper at £57

Good for a quick meal
This is the perfect kitchen cupboard stuff. Fast to mix up and fry for a sandwich. Value for money is outstanding compared to rip off prices for veggie sausages in supermarkets.I have been mixing it with soya mince to give it a bit more body and adding dried onion and cajun seasoning along with some maggi liquid seasoning. But you can literally bung in almost anything including diced greens.

Gorgeous, healthy, classic vegan
I ate sosmix when I was vegetarian, in the '80s, and loved it then. I've been vegan since '99 and I had no idea that it was still available! It tastes as lovely as ever - proper sausage flavour - has added vitamins, and is very versatile. You can add garlic, or herbs, or tomato puree, or curry spices, or all of those. You can make sausage shapes or patties or whatever shape you like. We bought this despite there only being two of us - myself and my husband - and we've had loads of meals from it. If you can afford it and have the space, this is the way to buy it - it works out very economical.

just like the old sosmix
I pondered about paying all that at once, but glad I did. I have been a vegetarian for 60 years now and used sosmix in the 80's. Couldn't find anything near it. Wasted money searching for substitute. But there is none. This is the best. Try adding a half teaspoon of smokey bacon flavouring to 150gms. mix. Absolutely fantastic. The flavouring I got off of Amazon too. Never tried it before, but had so many good reviews, that I bought some. The flavouring is herbs too, so all right for veggies. It's amazing. The use by date for the sosmix is next April, so well worth the money. I make the sosmix with the smokey bacon flavouring into burgers. I also add garlic and sage to sosmix to make sausages. brilliant !!!

Original Sosmix and Is Great!
Yep, it's the Sosmix we used to know and love, just in a massive 10kg bag. I can roll about 6-7 Sosages per 100g, I use 50g per meal. Very very good mix to give your meals some substance, something hearty to eat, which a lot of vegan meals can lack.I paid £56 quid and can get about 6 sosages per 100g, which equals to 56p per 6 sosages/ per 100g, which is pretty good! 6 Vegan 'sausages' from the store would be a lot more expensive, and I prefer these, so well worth the purchase.

It s a big packet but tasty
Very simple to use. Follow the instructions. You can add whatever ingrediaents to taste.Bought primarily for a vegetarian family member. Shop-bought meat substitutes are so expensive, so I thought I would try this. They love it. Quite tasty even for a non=veggie.Tested it out on a visitor, who could not tell which meatball was sosmix or meat. Success!

Big Big Bag
The biggest bag I have ever bought, I have had this and other types for years for a once a week meal, I find it doesn't have much taste it needs sauce and seasoning , the appearance and texture are good, it looks to have been bulked out a bit with vegetable fat, Unlike real meat you will not get any nasty surprises or headline grabbing news about it

Great price for an authentic product. Fast international shipping too!
Place 150g of Sosmix into a bowl. Add 250g ml of COLD water, Mix and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Form into sausaue shapes and fry gently in shallow oil until golden brown. (If you want to make a larger batch of product, scale up using 250mg of COLD water to each 150g of dry sosmix).
