Not a bad idea, just really bad execution ... and really small
Flimsy plastic. Opened well, but when closing it, you get the sense it will break soon. The thing was more than ten inches shorter than they said it would be in the description. Either they sent the wrong one, or it's just a lot shorter in reality ...

It will do
Works for the most part just “ok” but I think it’s because it’s thin for the reason of design. So because of that it doesn’t help as much as I would like for the heat, But over all it covers my windshield and helps a little which is better than nothing.

100% Better than cardboard sun shades
Have been using this for several months now and unlike cardboard sun shades which collapse in the window after several uses. This one has held up and is still going strong.

Smaller than listed
This product is smaller than listed. It falls short of meeting edges of windshield by 3 to 4 inches on either side and about 2 inches height wise. When the fabric is laid flat, the measurements might be accurate but with the product stretched over the umbrella spokes or whatever you would call them, it's shorter than it says. Probably won't bother to return. The listing should not say that it fits a 2023 VW Jetta though.

Does what's asked
I drive a smaller car 2012 Nissan Juke. it fits nice in the windshield. only down side is that its not easy to open or close. I will have to play with it a bit more

Cheap quality, button was messed up second time i opened it. Was to small for my jeep , and handle only has two adjustments so it was too long to stay on my dashboard for it not to fall
