Love them. Just like an improved genutrain brace.
I got this brace about a month ago. I've had knee problems most of my life. I've gone thru more braces than I would like to admit. The past few years I've settled in with bauerfeind and zamst being the main brands for my braces. I own 2 of the genutrain knee braces. The genutrain was the best knee brace I had ever used. I've never had surgery on my knee so mine is a stability issue with a floating knee cap. The genutrain did a great job for what I needed... Kept me stable and kept my knee cap where it should be.Enter this sport brace. Love it. I wish the sizing was a little more like the genutrain but I'm still good with it. It fits more snug than the genutrain but it's still Uber comfy. I wore it for a round of golf and forgot it had it on. That says something. I'm debating on getting another one. Owning 2 genutrains is what's Making me hesitate. Those are still good. Just this might be better for sports and being active.Update: I wore this brace on a bike ride today and then left it on while I ran around town. This was the longest I had the brace on... About 7 hours. By the time I got home and got it off, something was feeling weird on my skin. Turns out it was this stickier stuff that's on the inside of the brace. It's there to help keep the brace from slipping but at this time, I'd have to say that I don't like that material. My skin is red and irritated from it. It's like it gripped and stretched my skin. I think women who wear strapless bras might know what I'm talking about. It's the same stuff I've seen on my wife's strapless bras. She complains about it too. When taking it off its literally like peeling it off Ur skin. I won't modify my rating just yet. But as it stands, this basically told me not to order another just yet. Sure it doesn't slip but I'm not too fond of the reaction I'm having to the sticky stuff.

Bauerfiend Knee Sports Brace
This knee brace is perfectly supportive for sports activities like hiking and skiing. Also great for unstable knees around the house. They are beefier and much more supportive(but more restrictive) than most Incrediwear knee braces. Buaerfiend makes a very high quality product--follow their measurement directions and if you are between sizes order both and return one. This brace is far less bulky and cheaper than Bauerfiend's new Outdoor Sports Brace--which I tried but returned as it is too difficult to put on and is too stiff/restrictive.

Is this worth the price? Yes, it is.
In my mid-50s, I'm still training jiu jitsu and muay Thai, which persistently causes swelling in my surgically repaired left knee (40% meniscus tear nine years ago). My knee is holding up fine, but it gets sore. I've now blown cash on nine different knee sleeves on Amazon, and the Bauerfeind is far and beyond the best. The cheaper ones, $15-$25 for a pair, are worthless IMHO: they are little more than a sock pulled over my knee. Of the $40-$65 variety, they generally provide decent knee support, although they tend to be 1) bulkier, and not ideal for training, playing sports, etc.; or 2) odd or less than ideal fit; or 3) both. The Bauerfeind is slightly bulkier than the ~$20 knee socks, but the fit is snug without being constricting, and it provides better support than anything else I've tried. Worth noting, too, jiu jitsu puts a lot more stress on a knee sleeve than, say, playing basketball or soccer (e.g., wrestling level changes, knee slice, scrambles, etc.). Personally, I don't find a very noticeable difference between this older version and the newer Bauerfeind; they are both excellent, durable, and easy to wash, so go with the color/pattern you prefer.

Works well to add some stability and confidence when working out
Good brace, helps me a lot when I do leg workouts with a bad meniscus. Adds stability and I feel less nervous when working lower body.

Comfortable with good isolation
I wear these to ski because I have bad knees and they help keep my knees stabilized so I can ski longer and harder. After maybe the 4th or 5th use, I started to develop a rash on my upper thigh where the rubberized grip strip contour around my thigh. It's not a deal breaker and they aren't uncomfortable while in use, but having itchy blisters after the fact is pretty annoying.I thought maybe it was because they were dirty but even after washing them I still got the blisters.I'll try out some chamois cream next time I wear them to see if that might help. The isolation of the knee and the compression fit is worth the rash at the end of the day, and maybe I'll just need to put some tape or something around my leg before putting them on, or wear them over my base layers. All around seems like a great product to help with joint issues. Worn them maybe 15 times to ski and a little on some hikes and I definitely notice a difference in knee pain the next day. Just gotta figure out the rash thing.
