I bought this for a Sky-Watcher 100 Pro ED refractor telescope. It appears to be identical to the red dot finders sold by Celestron and other companies. Their red dots are a few dollars more. This finder has a variable brightness red dot up front. The whole top of the finder can be adjusted with two large knobs so the red dot coincides exactly with where your scope is aiming. One thing I particularly liked was that the angled bottom "foot" fit precisely into the Sky-Watcher finder slot with no wobble. When I tightened the scope's finder slot screw just a bit the finder was set in solidly. It is a simple matter to just aim the dot at a star or cluster or an area of sky where your charts tell you an object is located and then look in the eyepiece. With a low power eyepiece all the objects I was seeking were in the field of view. Built well, works as it should and selling at a good price.

The up and down or alt adjustment wouldn't go down far enough to actually get sighted with my 127mm mak correctly. Put some small washes under the back to fix it. Other than that, it works great.

Perfect fit to existing mount on Orion, skyscanner, Newtonian telescope. Elevation and traverse wheels are a bit loose but seem to maintain position reliably enough. Good product at under 20 price point.

Worked much better than the most recent one I ordered from Talcope. Didn't realize it wasn't an SVbony product pushed the wrong button.

Works very well, compared to the Celestron one has an extra taller optional mount.

I bought this for a celestron newtonian 76mm which it didn't fit. I tried on another celestrion 120mm but it didn't align as well as the stock finder on that one.Hence this was not much use for me.

Does the job. Inexpensive. Fits in standard crayford shoes. It's all plastic, but it's sturdy and does the job.
