Works really well for making quark as quark has to strain for 12 hours in the fridge after the heating process. I like that it has the little ledges to keep the product from falling down into the whey during that time. I can see where it might be too fine for other recipes, but for my purpose, it's just what I need.

Sieves grainy liquids very well

I use this sieve for making milk kefir and the drink does come out smooth and silky.but I have to stir it a lot and even add water to get it through the sieve as it’s so fine!Having used it a few times with vigorous stirring , no sign of breakdown or leaking!!

With a mesh this fine, suitable only for thin liquids. Great for making sediment-free stock. Dishwasher-safe and fits most bowls and funnels.

I bought this product to strain kefir. The mesh only allowed a little of the liquid to go through. This left the majority of the desired liquid in the strainer. Purchase a strainer from another company that did the job. Not sure what I'll use this strainer for.

I use this to straighten the whey off my yogurt. It works well for this but the size of the strainer for my use needed to be bigger. It's time consuming as I need to strain multiple amounts but it's made sturdy and I do like it. I soak it to clean it and it cleans up nicely

I like this strainer but wish I bought a bigger one. I did not realize that I would be able to fully grip and squeeze the juice out. Size aside, It is pretty well made and work for smaller workload juicing.
