These are great gloves. I am now on my second pair - worked them hard so not concerned about value for money!I love my garden but I am quite allergic to lots of plants. The slightest scratch can turn into a big deal so these have been a lifesaver. Relatively thorn proof and comfortable, I suspect due to the mix between leather and neoprene. I ordered the extra large this time for more ease. The first pair were a large and were snug but gave over time. Highly recommend if you are looking for a maximum coverage glove that allows you to use tools easily.

If you need a pair of gloves for pruning, these are the best you'll find. Superb felxibility in the fingers and great protection to the arm. I loved them so much, I bought a pair of the normal gloves for normal gardening and outdoor work. A little expensive at the full price but I was able to buy both on a half-price deal - at that price they are a superb bargain.

I bought these as the review said they were sturdy. After just a few weeks of general gardening, there was a hole at the end of the finger where the scene has come apart. I got a replacement pair at my own cost, but very similar thing happened within a month. Very disappointed as the glove appears to be of good quality and looks great

We bought a pair of XL for our daughter who has large (not fat) hands. They are beautiful gloves and seem to be very good quality however they are only slightly too large for my wife who has tiny hands. We put them up against a medium size pair of Marigold kitchen gloves and the Marigolds were slightly larger so if you are a lady with medium size hands then the XL would be an excellent buy.So five stars for quality and zero for product sizing.Sadly, we are returning them.

I read the reviews for these gloves and decided to order although a little sceptical that they would be tough enough for the memorial rose garden that I help tend. Oh was I wrong! These gloves are a arm and hand saver! I love them. I can not recommend these gloves enough. Size may be a problem for some as I usually have a medium (size 7) but on following the size guide, I ordered the biggest and they fit perfectly. I would agree with other comments that the finger tips could do with some reinforcements if required for more heavy duty work, but otherwise perfect for pruning, dead heading and general maintenance in the rose garden. Well worth the money.

Very difficult to get ladies gloves to fit my large hands but theses are great . They also somehow manage to look elegant . I have not been amongst the thorns yet but I have tried gathering up twigs and the gloves seemed fine. I dont really want to get them dirty as they look and smell so good !

Beautiful

Gorgeous, comfy and apparently entirely suited to the garden work but was disappointed to find holes in the index and middle fingers after just a month - admittedly of pretty heavy work. Sure they would be fine for just pruning & weeding.
