Snags easily
This is VERY pretty fabric but snags very easily. Even snagged on my hangnail. I feel like after a few weeks it’ll look fuzzy. This would be great for making something that will not go through a lot of handling otherwise it’ll be snag city!

Pretty
More yellow than true gold yet pretty. Had seamstress sew an edge on for a table liner. She said it was a bear to see with, frayed easily.

Value
I needed to replace the fabric on the bottom shelf of an antique curio cabinet. This looked wonderful after I recovered the wood board. It is a bit stiff and I'm not sure how it would perform if making an outfit.

Lovely pattern and color, but surprisingly fragile fabric
I got this to make a Belle princess dress for my daughter. The pros: it's very shiny and (provided you immediately serge and fraycheck the edges) has enough body to make a full, absolutely gorgeous gold dress for a little girl. The cons: this stuff frays like crazy. The second one section of the weave gets a little loose, there's nothing you can do to stop it spreading. Every time you insert a needle into the fabric, the weave gets a little looser, so INTERFACE ANYTHING YOU WISH TO SEW! The entire sleeve of one dress fell apart and I had to remake it with heavy interfacing glued to the inside seam allowance just so the stitches had enough material to hold together. You must use iron on interfacing--sew on will fall apart.
